Win? Win what?

The general election. Like I said, it's simple math. If the GOP is divided in November, the Democrats will benefit. Bank on it.

Lobbyist financed Washington Republicans and Washington Democrats are the two wings of the same bird of prey. Every candidate who rises up to challenge them are smeared relentlessly. That includes Perot, Buchanan and now Tea Party candidates. 3rd party types were told to work within the party. Now that they are doing this, the smear is the same. No outsiders may apply. Lobbyist’s rule.

Sounds like what Rove had in mind.

You mean ‘Immigration Reform’ like what the Republicans tried in 2006??
I think you should realize that the ‘Progressives’ have infiltrated the Republican party.
Needless to say the policies we now enjoy are courtesy of the ‘Progressives’ agenda regardless the party.
Obama proclaimed ‘Change’. What ‘change’ only a peddle to the metal stance?

I know that. The GOP is S*IT as far as parties go! And so is 90% of the politicians elected as Republican.

We do not stand a tinkers’ chance in Hades against the Progressives and the Dems and the Libs and the socialists et al. Because we (the opposition to this BS) are constantly fighting among ourselves say who is best and this is ALL we will allow, if you do not tow the line don’t come in.

Maybe we ought to win something before we try to set the rules of membership. Maybe we out to win in November ans start the exit of those intent on destroying the country. Otherwise we will still be a minority and never have enough clout to turn this around.

The Dems do a good job at muck raking, screaming and yelling and getting heard over everyone else. we can never win over the minds of others constantly bickering among ourselves.

Our children and our grand children will not be thanking us for losing their birth rights due to our inability to for a cohesive unit in a majority to ‘throw the bums OUT!’

They have convinced us to join with them in “supporting the nominee” for decades. The people have risen up and said they have had enough. It’s time for the establishment to support OUR candidates.

The people have realized that supporting RINO’s and supporting democrats is basically the same thing. In both cases we’re burning our house down the only difference is the speed at which it burns. The TEA party, Palin, DeMint etc...are the only ones trying to put out the fire.

If the Republican establishment is willing to let the house burn down rather than support our people then the blame is squarely on their shoulders.

Thanks! An ancient wisdom book contains these words:

"Without a vision, the people perish."

The Founders' vision was "Proclaim liberty throughout the land," while today's so-called "Progressive" socialists proclaim a counterfeit and opposite idea.

The Founders' vision produced a form of self-government, based on enduring principles, which allowed more freedom, more opportunity, more plenty, and more sharing with others than had ever existed in the history of civilization.

With Lincoln, we pray that "this government, of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth."

Without a vision that goes past the short-term election of nominally conservative Republicans, we risk the light of liberty being extinguished in the world by compromise and ignorance of principle.

I still have my elephant pin with the Goldwater glasses. It was my first campaign and vote for POTUS.

I have my father's "Goldwater" tie clip, when he passed away his brother wore it to the funeral, while I wore his "Boeing 727" tie clip.

“In its grand strategy to recapture a Senate that George W. Bush and Rove lost in 2006,”

GW Bush and Karl Rove were NOT formulating and running the GOP Congressional campaigns in 2006.

The GOP Congressional leadership and the GOP Congressional campaign committees needed no help from GW Bush or Karl Rove to lose GOP Congressional seats in 2006;

and the vast majority of the reasons for those loses lie with the GOP Congressional leadership and the GOP Congressional campaign leaders and committees - NOT GW Bush and Karl Rove.

What was GOP voters and supporters MOST fractured over in 2006? GW Bush and his policies? No. The largest sense of dissatisfaction of GOP voters in 2006, with the GOP, was with the GOP Congressional leaders and THEIR handling of GOP Congressional positions.

The GOP base felt that THEY were more with GW Bush than was the GOP Congressional leadership, more often than they felt they were behind the Congressional leaders and opposed to Bush.

Blaming GW Bush and Karl Rove for GOP Congressional loses in 2006 is simply not founded in the facts.

Two factions divided and each pointing their finger at the other is not the answer. Middle ground is a necessity if there is to be any unity at all.

We’ve supported their candidates forever. If what you say is true, it’s time for THEM to show it.

I’ve always said, politics aside, I’d rather go out like Nelson Rockefeller, with a smile on my face...not like Megan Marshack, screaming, crying and gasping for breath.
