So let me close by saying this. Long before America was even an idea, this land of plenty was home to many peoples. In short, with out mention of the "creator" there is no rational justification for the "endowed" unalienable rights... rights that are inborn and independent of man made laws.

It looks like he was reading from the teleprompter as usual, but when it came to this part, he paused and considered whether he should continue verbatim or to say it his way. I believe the phrase “endowed by our Creator” was on that teleprompter, and he made a deliberate decision to omit it.
America was an idea in the 1500s and the United States of America an idea in the 1700s. Mexico is only now celebrating its 200th anniversary. Obama's history timeline for the New World is off by about 200 years.

Unbelievable. This is important. This is not just ignorance, or a mis-quote. To leave out the phrase ‘BY THEIR CREATOR’ (and the very meaning of “NATURAL” law) underpins the very concept of ‘inalienable” rights guaranteed to us by that declaration. These ‘natural’ laws are given to us through our Creator, and not by man.
These points are all expounded further within the Federalist Papers. When ‘by their Creator’ is left out there is no longer any rational (or for that matter legal) justification for the endowed “unalienable” rights. Rights that are inborn and independent of any man made laws. Once natural law is removed all of us become subjects of the government and our rights ‘inalienable’ or otherwise are now no longer determined by ‘natural’ law but by man made laws rather than God.
Folks, this is how freedom dies. The next step is tyranny.

IMO he pretty much declared himself a dictator in this speech (not that very many dolts in this country will grasp the significance of this). He took away our ‘natural’ rights to liberty given to us by God by omitting that phrase. In doing so he has tonight stripped us of our ‘natural’ rights!
If this is not the beginnings of a real hard tyranny I don’t know what else would be short of gulags and prison camps. And now that he has re-written the Declaration and removed our God given ‘natural’ rights - they may be next!
