What about holding individual Black Americans accountable?

I realize things are hard in some areas, but there are certain actions anyone can take to improve their status.

There are ALREADY resources available to those who would make use of them, so stop asking for more and tell your people to go make use of them.

What about letting Black Americans rise above their situations without telling them they’re an Uncle Tom or a wanna-be whitey?

What about getting your butt up in the morning and making sure your kids get to school, behave, study, learn and do their homework?

What about being more involved with your kids in positive ways?

What about not having too many kids out of wedlock, and limit the number of fathers involved to preserve some kind of family unit and identity?

What about living within your means for now and forget the
crackberry and the expensive shoes, give up the nail parlor and ease up on the Lotto tickets?

Any of these things would certainly address the issues many
Black Americans have a problem with. Or do they really just
want to be coddled and given things, like children?

The original Black Americans did come here by slaveship. That was a terrible injustice and I am sorry for their misery. Many other cultures in history were slaves, and some still are. I am sickened by all of it that one human being could be so ignorant and be so cruel to Another of God’s creations.

My family did not own slaves. MOST American families of today did not own slaves. Most modern Americans are descendants of dirt-poor immigrants, who came here on crowded, filthy ships, and lived in horrible conditions
once they got here.

Working endlessly, scraping by, living in veritable ghettos - until they scraped and saved enough to make it out, or until their children got an education and were able to make a better life.

I don’t believe any of my ancestors begged the government to give them just enough money so they could remain in the squalor of that life.

The disconnect between the idea of making a better life or remaining in the ghetto is nurtured by a certain group of people who depend on these souls for votes. These other people have money and cars and status and privilege, and do NOT live in these ghettos where they’ve put their constituents.

For some reason, they are rock stars to the poor, who depend on the false words that drip from the agitators’ mouths. HOW can the rest of society break that hold, unless those on the inside are willing to break it themselves, and LET these bonds be broken so the truth might come in?

Why not honor the memory of your captive ancestors by becoming a whole person? If you snort at the idea of
joining American society as it is, then you spit on the dreams and sorrows of the ones who came before.

Prolonging the blame on slavery is prolononging the solution to the mess. Looking to a half black president, with no slave blood, to make it up to Black American in one fell swoop is maddenlingly stupid.

The bastards who hold their brothers hostage know exactly what the problem is, and the rest of us know it, too. The difference is the rest of us are tired of the game and we’re not playing anymore.

PS - when is the White Congessional Caucus meeting, because I have a few complaints of my own. I need a job, a better house, a newer car and I’d like to go back to school, but I can’t afford any of it.

Maybe it was thirty thousand that died in the war. I don’t remember anymore.

The entire world is:
Going up (literally in some cases) in flames
Full blown economic breakdown
Record unemployment goes higher and higher during the day
People losing homes
People losing jobs
Terrorists getting bolder and bolder
No end of this mess in sight

And these IDIOTS are worried about RACE? This is what I hate about these morons, so self absorbed that they are still concerned about Obama not doing enough for THEM, while everyone loses all they know.

Eventually, the group hopes to issue a report card that grades the administration on how well it is doing in closing racial disparities.

Why is it the administration's job to do for people what they can and should do for themselves?

“Where my pie at?’ Post of the night. Encapsulates the whole mentality of black America. The meaning of ‘’holding Obama accountable means as far as ‘’the black community’’ is concerned he hasn’t paid mortgages , filled up gas tanks and made ‘’whitey’’ pay.
