Report: Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the U.S. government

Report: Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the U.S. government

WASHINGTON — The Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the U.S. government as part of the movement's drive to promote holy war against the West, a report said.

So far, the government was said to have done nothing to stop the Brotherhood infiltration. The report by the Center for Security Policy cited the success of one Brotherhood operative in gaining access to the White House under both Democratic and Republican administrations. "Relying on Brotherhood operatives for 'outreach to the Muslim community,' let alone appointing them to influential government jobs, is a formula for disaster," the report said. "It gives prominence and legitimacy to enemy agents engaged in covert and not-so-covert acts of sedition. It facilitates their penetration and influence over the intelligence, law enforcement and national and homeland security agencies responsible for discerning and defeating such threats."

Titled "Shariah, The Threat to America," the report said the Brotherhood, with headquarters in Egypt but heavily financed by Saudi Arabia, has dominated Muslim politics in the United States. The report, prepared by teams headed by former Deputy Defense Undersecretary William Boykin and former Defense Intelligence Agency director Edward Soyster, said the Brotherhood oversaw everything from Hamas fundraising to training for FBI agents assigned to the Muslim community. "As a result of this modus operandi, the Muslim Brotherhood is not only to prevent any appreciable challenge to its efforts to dominate the Muslim-American community," the report, released on Sept. 15, said. "It is also able to exercise effective control over nearly all the Muslim organizational infrastructure in the United States, including most of those Muslim-American groups that are nominally outside its network. In any event, the latter pale by comparison in terms of their influence to those U.S.-based Islamic groups that are Ikhwan [Brotherhood] operations."

The report cited Abdul Rahman Al Amoudi, an Eritrean native who in the 1990s became executive director of the American Muslim Council. Under the administration of then-President Bill Clinton, Al Amoudi helped develop guidelines for government dealings with the Muslim community and often met senior White House officials, including National Security Advisor Anthony Lake.

Later Al Amoudi met George W. Bush during his successful campaign for president in 2000. In 2003, Al Amoudi was arrested and prosecuted on charges that he served as a senior financier for Al Qaida.

"His arrest and conviction should have sent shockwaves through the U.S. intelligence community, particularly its counterintelligence units, since Al Amoudi's blown cover provided a reality check on the extent of shariah's stealth jihad in this country, and how badly we have been penetrated," the report said. "Here was, after all, proof that an Al Qaida and Hamas operative had enjoyed access to the most senior levels of the American government."

Instead, the White House simply relayed high-level access to other Brotherhood leaders in the United States. The report cited a decision by the Defense Department to grant responsibility for military chaplains to the Islamic Society of North America, regarded as the largest Brotherhood front in the United States.

"In the absence of a serious effort to understand the true nature of shariah and the determined campaign being mounted to insinuate it into this country, together with an aggressive counter-intelligence operation aimed at defeating such influence and penetration operations, it is predictable that the next Al Amoudi will be able to do vastly more damage than did the original," the report said.

The report said U.S. intelligence and security agencies have been prevented from properly analyzing the Brotherhood threat. Analysts could jeopardize their careers should they employ "accurate language to define the enemy threat doctrine," the report said.

Under President Barack Obama, the Brotherhood was believed to have gained even greater influence. The report cited White House counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan, an enthusiastic supporter of Saudi Arabia who has denied any Islamic threat and called for a U.S. dialogue with the Iranian-sponsored Hizbullah.

"Indeed, it is hard to overstate the danger associated with the president of the United States having as his top advisor in these sensitive portfolios someone so severely compromised with respect to shariah and the threat it poses," the report said.

Must be the President.

About every anti American enemy we can think of has infiltrated the US government.

It would be nice to see a few real Americans do some infiltrating and rid us of the enemy.

Not that that will happen.

Infiltrate is an awfully harsh word to use to define "CHANGE", isn't it?

Frankly any President that doesn’t order the FBI to start a hunt for Muslim Brotherhood infiltrators is not worthy of being President. They are at WAR against the U.S. and proudly state so.

As written in the Quran, Sharia is the law of Allah. Any other form of government is a sin. It is the duty of every Muslim to keep striving until all governments have been converted to Sharia law.

Islam is at war with the non-Islamic world until the whole world follows Sharia law.

Watch this. 8:10 long. Very educational.

For a full understanding of how Sharia is affecting the US, download (177 pages) this (the above mentioned report) and read it: http://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/p18523.xml

Obama wouldn’t have to hunt to find them - he’s the one who put them there. He knows exactly who they are.

Report: Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the U.S. government

Sounds familiar. Does the name Fethullah Gülen sound familiar? The U.S.-based Islamist who is helping to destroy modern Turkey's secular government and heritage. The Islamists are doing it to us.

Fethullah Gülen's Grand Ambition. Turkey's Islamist Danger

"You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers … until the conditions are ripe, [you] must continue like this. … You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institutions in [the republic]."

Thanks for that link, good find.

Whether pursued through the violent form of jihad (holy war) or stealthier practices that shariah Islamists often refer to as “dawa” (the “call to Islam”), shariah rejects fundamental premises of American so- ciety and values:
    a.   the bedrock proposition that the governed have a right to make law for themselves;
    b.   the republican democracy governed by the Constitution;
    c.   freedom of conscience; individual liberty (including in matters of personal privacy and sexual preference);
    d.   freedom of expression (including the liberty to analyze and criticize shariah);
    e.   economic liberty (including private property);
    f.   equal treatment under the law (including that of men and women, and of Muslims and non-Muslims);
    g.   freedom from cruel and unusual punishments; an unequivocal condemnation of terrorism (i.e., one that is based on a common sense meaning of the term and does not rationalize barbarity as legitimate “resistance”); and h.   an abiding commitment to deflate and resolve political controversies by the ordinary mechanisms of federalism and democracy, not wanton violence.
Islamism is the basis behind both Marxism and Nazism, and in direct opposition to Constitutionalism.

Even if its Wikipedia, it is a well-known fact that Eritrea has a substantial Muslim population which has also been boosted by government bias.

The article you shared is not telling the truth.
Here is the response to that article by Professor Greg Barton, Herb Feith research professor. You can also use the following source for up-to-date and accurate information about Fethullah Gulen. www.fethullah-gulen.org

Thank you for mentioning Fethullah Gulen. I am well aware of him and his impact on the democratic Republic of Turkey.

I did not read the entire article. I quoted the part that was of interest to me; to wit, how the mullahs and imams get richer and richer. Even under the Shah that was generally true.

Are you saying that the mullahs and imams are not benefiting personal wealth-wise?

Your other link responds with:

"HTTP Status 404 - /news-166511-a-response-to-rachel-sharon-krespins-fethullah-gulens-grand-ambition-turkeys-islamist-danger-i-by-greg-barton.html/

Is this the Barton article?

I am no expert. I did live in Ankara for about a year several years ago.

This is more like the Turkey that I remember.

Lest some think that all Turks are ready to give in to Islamism, Sharia law, and burkas.. well no they are not.

"Opinion polls that measure attitudes toward the AKP and its conservative values suggest that 32 percent to 38 percent of Turks (upward of 25 million people) would never support the AKP or want to live in a country shaped solely by its values."

Read and see more

The image on the banner is of Ataturk the founder of modern secular democratic constitutional Republic of Turkey. The photos are from demonstrations of three years ago protesting the ruling AK Party's Islamist (political Islam & Sharia law) leanings and reminding the AKP that they promised the voters that they would respect Turkey's heritage of secularism.

William,

I tried to post this article (http://www.todayszaman.com/news-166511-a-response-to-rachel-sharon-krespins-fethullah-gulens-grand-ambition-turkeys-islamist-danger-i-by-greg-barton.html) which is a response to the article you posted (http://www.meforum.org/2045/fethullah-gulens-grand-ambition)

I believe that those who sees Mr. Gulen as a threat have never met someone from Gulen Movement. This article is biased and it does not give us single proof of Gulen Movement being a threat.
If you want to get to know someone better you don’t listen the rumors, because rumors will mislead you.
What you do is to go directly to the person and talk with him, ask him questions.
I would like invite those who claim that Gulen Movement are a threat for US to read articles that are written by Mr. Gulen, ask him questions. A life dedicated to dialogue does not deserve this at all. If you would like to read articles that are written by him and intellectuals all around the world, please take a look at the following sites:
http://www.fethullah-gulen.org/
http://www.fethullah-gulen.net/
and http://www.rumiforum.org/

You are absolutely wasting your time if you think I will ever have any respect for political Islam and sharia law -- also known as fundamental Islam or Islamism.

I have no interest in the Christian fundamentalist Identity movement and I sure as hell am not going to respect Islamism. I will respect Islam but I will never, never, never respect Islamism. Period.

I wanted to know what Gulen thought of 9/11 -- of course I DID NOT expect that he would support it. Not at all. I was just interested in how he worded his condemnation.

I found this.. but when I search for it in the Washington Post I could not find it. To wit, I search for "a Muslim is one who does no harm with either his or her hand or tongue"

I have for years found newspaper articles, books, columns.. you name it, by submitting a string of words in double quotes. Did they purchase an ad? Was it really in the Post? It was found in several places but not the Post.

Then there is this that says it was the message published in the Post: Here

Why say it was in the Post if it wasn't? Just the statement is enough. It did not have to be in the Post. But they said it was. Where was it?

THE AVERAGE AMERICAN HASN’T A CLUE AS TO THE BILLIONS OF AMERICAN TAX PAYER DOLLARS THAT OMUSLIM HAS THROWN AWAY WHILE THREATENING TO WITHOUT SENIOR’S SS AND GUTTING THE MILITARY:

peacekeeping operations, including an expanded mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a new mission in Chad and the Central African Republic

Department of Justice:$17 million, matching the request, for counter-terrorism activities and to provide training and assistance for the Iraqi criminal justice system
Obama gives your tax dollars to rebuild Muslim mosques around the world
http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/... #

ACCORDING TO THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WILL GIVE AWAY NEARLY $6 MILLION OF AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS TO RESTORE 63 HISTORIC AND CULTURAL SITES, INCLUDING ISLAMIC MOSQUES AND MINARETS, IN 55 NATIONS. See the State Department document here.
