Christine O'Donnell's campaign went off the rails today when Bill Maher announced that he has previously-unseen clips of O'Donnell from the late 1990s when she appeared several times on his show. In one clip, she says that she once "dabbled into witchcraft."
I dabbled into witchcraft -- I never joined a coven. But I did, I did. ... I dabbled into witchcraft. I hung around people who were doing these things. I'm not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do. [...]

Gee, I don’t recall Ted Kennedy’s “youthful indiscretions” dooming his career as a senator, although fortunately he was never able to capture the presidency.
I know a girl who did “Goth” stuff in high school. Black lipsticks, piercings, the works. Her and some other kids were suspended for drawing pentagrams and setting fire to something on campus. Guess what? She got over it. She got a law degree from Pepperdine, was a legislative liason for Family Research Council and is planning on a run for Congress in 2012. Democrats and “neocon” losers like Powerline will look pretty damn foolish if they take this tack vs. O’Donnell. After all, she did this stuff well before Chris Coons wrote his “bearded Marxist” stuff. If Christine’s goth dabblings are fair game, so is Coons youthful mistakes.
The point is, candidates need to be vetted. Before you put your muscle and movement behind somebody, it’s wise to first check whether or not they have a screw loose.
Powerline has always been a squishy web site. Their unmistakable crush on Pawlenty and virtually every other “moderate” and their continual outright hatred of Palin and her legions has sent me packing. Powerline os three guys; one is a RINO doofus, one is a squishy conservative, and one of them is a nonentity. I do not pay enough attention to tell which is which.

Because Mark Levin turned over the rock under which they blog, and they are furious about being exposed as the RINO losers they are.
As long as she votes in a conservative manner and properly represents her constituents, I could care less about her ability to be a “spokesman for the cause”.
That is the real story here, the elitist pubbies are not concerned that she is unelectable, they WANT her to lose and proof will be their long faces on election day when she wins. What a bright light has been shined on the GOP this election, let us never forget that these creeps prefer a self proclaimed Marxist over a conservative simply because the conservative stepped on their precious toes.
