"One of the things I learned in working for Senator Reid was the importance of building consensus and, more importantly, working across the aisle. The most successful people on the Hill were people who were able to do that, and it was certainly a lesson I took with me to the Commission. On so many issues that we face as a nation, there are different viewpoints, and it's important to hear other people's views and what their thoughts are on issues. You may not always agree on solutions, but it's important to have that dialogue and respect the people who disagree with you and learn how to build those collaborations."
This is the best federal employee we have by some bizzaro world standard. He thinks Sen Reid is a consensu builder? And this mope draws a paycheck for being this stoopid.

We have successfully over regulated the industry such that no Nukes have been built for decades so we can continue to pollute the Earth’s surface environment with Hg from dirty coal.

Federal Employees (With the exception of some in the military) make the worst leaders. I found the best ones came from smaller school;s and learned the rope from books and real life...Something a lifetime bureaucrat never experiences. They just follow a road-map, back-stab and keep their nose clean...aka don't get caught.
I learned my skills from a small collage and real life...Something this Jackass has never experience. Also, learning consensus from a politician is called a Lie!
PS...I've dealt with the NRC...They can teach Jesse Jackson how to hustle....

Haven’t hey received their new mission statement yet?
Wait until they get the new presidential directive to refocus their efforts.
Their new responsibility will be to reach out to muslims, share nuclear technology and expertise with them, and assist them in making it clear to the world how it is really followers of Islam who first cracked the atom, and, thanks to muslim scientific contributions, it is now possible for everyone to have cheap and abundant nuclear power.
