Vetting Sarah Palin—The Assignment of a Lifetime
Canada Free Press ^ | Sunday, September 19, 2010 | Christopher Massie

Posted on 09/19/2010 9:28:30 AM PDT by Bratch

Why this assignment; why now? With 45 days currently remaining until the November 2, 2010 general elections—unquestionably the single most important elections of a generation in which a president is NOT being chosen—America’s future leaders are being clearly defined by voters across the nation.

As this process gloriously unfolds, closet doors are being opened, exposing ghosts heretofore unrevealed to the Conservative voters. These spirits haunt even the MOST Conservative political figures amongst us in these countdown days to the inevitable changing of the guard—and the revelations are shocking.

SARAH PALIN AND CURRENT THREATS TO THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT:

Charles Krauthammer M.D., a Harvard educated, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the Washington Post, whose syndicated articles appear in magazines and papers across the country—and who is also a frequent guest on Fox News—has clearly miscalculated the viability of one of the most important Palin-endorsed candidates for the United States Senate of this election cycle.

This denouncement of Christine O’Donnell by Krauthammer, as witnessed on the Bill O’Reilly Show on Fox News, included unnecessary as well as absolutely uncalled-for potshots at Sarah Palin. Inferring that Palin is less well politically educated than Biden, for example, was one of the most insulting and party-dividing statements a so-called Conservative has lobbed at this nation’s most important Conservative figure-head in years. That one statement set Palin and the Conservative movement on its heels. And further revealed the classic disconnect between old boy Republicans the likes of Krauthammer, and true Conservatives in the vein of Sarah Palin.

I used to think that Krauthammer was good at least some of the time, as long as it was the right subject. Now, I think he’s a useless idiot 24/7.

I won’t be bothering to read anything that he has to say.

How much more could they "vet" Sarah Palin? She has been examined from every angle and spin anyone could imagine.

It seems ironic that the very media who can't even produce a birth certificate, school records, passport records, etc., can be so intense about investigating a person who has all those things.

But she keeps on coming, like the EverReady bunny.

And remember when she wrote her book , the Associated Press assigned 11 fact checkers to review her book? How many fact checkers ever worked on Obama’s books?

Gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown

And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin'

Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
Keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again

Don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'

For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they, they are a-changin'

Come senators, Congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't block at the doorway
Don't block up the hall

For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it's ragin'

It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
Don't criticize
What you can't understand

Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'

Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend a hand
For your times they are a-changin'

The line it is drawn
And the curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast

As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'

And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'

I recall being excoriated on FR a few months back for pointing out that Kraut isn’t all that conservative. In fact, he is rabidly anti-Christian and anti-southerner in a most bigoted kind of way. But, because he is good on the ME issues and a few other things he had developed an almost cultlike following here.

It is good to see that he is making his true colors unmistakably clear.

Time for Sarah (or someone) to get in front of the TV cameras and wave their own long form birth certificate at Obama. We need to call out the MSM on their shameful refusal to dig up his past, like they do to every Republican candidate.

AND here is the main point of the article, He nailed it!

In closing it is fantastically imperative to reiterate one fundamental element of Sarah Palin’s political and personal persona: she is first and foremost a Christian. Second, and equally as important, she is a Constitutionalist. Defining those terms in the context of how she will lead a country requires one simple review of the Founding Fathers. She has never allowed religion to interfere with her duties as a servant to the people—ever. She has forever listened to the voice of the people—always. She has in all public duties eschewed obfuscation—consistently. She is the one true voice of the people—and so too have her soldiers, her armies, always been. This city on the hill has grown dim. Sarah Louise Palin is the lantern to light that torch for the world to once again turn towards.

...In 1978, Krauthammer quit medical practice to direct planning in psychiatric research for the Jimmy Carter administration, and began contributing to The New Republic magazine. During the presidential campaign of 1980, Krauthammer served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale.

In January 1981, Krauthammer began his journalistic career, joining The New Republic as a writer and editor. His New Republic writings won the 1984 “National Magazine Award for Essays and Criticism.” In 1983, he began writing essays for Time magazine. In 1985, he began a weekly column for the Washington Post for which he won the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for commentary...
