Little did the Iranians know, these three would have been happy to be Iranians.
Why is it unbelievable? Her fiance & friend are still there.
Don’t take any of this as it seems. She has to be very careful right now about the status of her friends.

Not that I would want harm to come to them, but if they do get out alive, all of them need to be sterilized so they don’t pollute the gene pool with their brand of stupidity. Hiking in a war zone?
She sounds as stupid as I expected. Even if she were not stupid, the Iranians have her friends hostage.
Moral of the story: Do not day hike along national borders during time of war, stupid.

I suspect you are correct in your assessment. I just said we should not go hog wild on her until her friends are home. Right now she can be considered under duress.

Who in their right mind would go hiking in Iraq a war zone and so close to such a hostile border anyway? Don’t they know they can get their heads chopped off, our resources are spending way too much time for stupid actions like these three have that put their self in this stupid situation, I wonder if they thought about taking a picnic lunch with them.

Did Sarah, herself, actually speak? When I tuned in, it was the moms of Shane and Josh and almost every answer was “we don’t know...we’ve hardly talked to Sarah”. Worthless.
One of the moms answered a question about whether she had been worried about her son going to that region. She described it as a “famous tourist destination”, so .... no, she wasn’t worried at all. What famous tourist destination is that?
It should be remembered she isn’t really free until the young men are free. She doesn’t want the Iranians to retaliate.
A job awaits her on the Zero administration.
