Karl Rove and the Bushwacked GOP

Here's what's rich about the continuing back-and-forth between Karl Rove and Christine O'Donnell: The most significant concern about O'Donnell is the argument that conservatives should ignore qualifications and personal flaws as long as a candidate checks the right ideological boxes. Well, what candidate benefited from that calculus more than Rove's pet project George W. Bush?

Week 2 of wasting precious time on this silly feud. Rove needs to stuff a sock in it. Time for all the rest of us to re-focus on defeating the statist Democratic cabal this fall and to cease being distracted by side line silliness like this.

Without them, it is impossible to imagine a president as liberal as Barack Obama

I just imagined it. You can't pile a hypothetical on top of a supposition on top of a variable and pretend you're near reality. What happened, happened.

If you read his quotes on line, you'd think he was Reagan reincarnate.

What happens to Republicans from Texas when they get to Washington? Are they more concerned with power politics than conservative values?

Totally flawed article, mr. author. Bush, and there are many reasons I love him, was not a conservative on many issues. He never discussed reigning in an out of control government. Bush was solid on social issues, lower taxes, strong defense, and ended up giving us two very good SC Justices, but he was in no way a small government advocate like this year’s crops

Rove is just trying to protect his position as politicians helper.
This Tea party thing is about to kill his bidness. He’s NOT NEEDED.
Nor are any of his kind.

‘Cause I say my smears loud and I say ‘em nonstop
Because being a RINO is what I’m all about
I shilled for Mike Castle and I got thrown out!”

Karl Rove..

The political genius who built the Trojan RINO Administration that Ken Mehlman, Mary Cheney, Meghan McCain and the rest of the homosexual log-cabin zombies are trying to ride into power?

That Karl Rove?

FAIL

Bingo. One out-of-order spasm on election night, bad form but it could happen. To keep it going news cycle after news cycle on every available forum, he is on the job.

Now you tell us. We were told he was conservative by even Rush Limbaugh.
He never discussed reigning in an out of control government.
Yea, no kidd'n, it wasn't all that "out of control" untill it was controlded by him and other Republicans
Bush was solid on social issues, lower taxes,...
So help me out here. Was his new prescription drugs entitlment a social issue or a lower taxes issue?

I wish someone would stuff a large, sweaty gym sock in Carl’s mouth.

The nomination is a done deal. The only reason he could have for continuing this is a desire to get even with conservatives. Better a commie in the Senate than a member of the Great Unwashed talking back to their betters.

Carl and the rest of them are making it abundantly clear that what is best for this country is not their primary interest.
