A man facing the death penalty in Fairfax County for two murders, and who was convicted of a third in California, is now a suspect in two more California homicides committed in the same fashion, his attorneys revealed in court Monday.
If Alfredo R. Prieto is charged with the two slayings in Riverside County, Calif., he then will have been charged with six homicides and four rapes -- allegedly all of them committed at the time of the killings -- in slightly more than two years between 1988 and 1990. He has not been charged with the most recently revealed cases, which occurred in the seven months after he moved from Arlington County to California and were linked to him by DNA matches.
All of the victims were shot.

Where is this guy from originally? This country?
Funny, none of the authors of the stories I looked at in my search of teh Interwebz thought to mention that little tidbit. I guess only a bad person would be interested in the answer to that question.
Must be, because the MSM ALWAYS lists the country of origin when criminals are immigrants so as to support thier goal of decreasing illegal immigration. < /sarcasm>
According to this Washington Post story (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2008/05/23/ST2008052301661.html), he grew up in “war-torn El Salvador in the 1980s.” His lawyers have raised the defense that this “trauma” led to his actions. Yeah, right.
Still haven’t found any references to his immigration status.
Thank you for link. Amazing how this continues?!!
