There is ( or maybe by now was ) a jewelry story on Wabash Avenue in Chicago where customers had to pass through a small glass walled vestiblue in order to enter the store. One of the doors had to close before the other would open.

While the proprietor was wrapping Mrs. Lucky's Christmas present, I asked him if the door arrangement had ever trapped a would be robber. He said it had on several occasions, but that his favorite would be criminal was the young perp who, when he realized he was trapped, tried to shoot out the door lock, thereby learning several important physics lessons.
