Witchcraft and Marxism in Delaware

(CNN) - Delaware Senate nominee Chris Coons tried to set the record straight Tuesday in an interview that covered witchcraft, Marxism and Harry Reid.

When asked by CNN National Political Correspondent Jessica Yellin if Republican Christine O'Donnell's controversial comments about witchcraft over a decade ago were relevant now, Coons said "I really don't think so."

"My opponent spent more than a decade as a pundit on television so there's lots of clips of her saying things that I'm sure she wished that there weren't files of right now," Coons said.

On Fox News Christine O'Donnell addressed the same comments she made to Bill Maher in 1999, calling her experimentation with witchcraft, "teenage rebellion."

"Some people dabble in drugs to rebel, that's how I rebelled. But who didn't do some questionable things in High School" O'Donnell said."I most certainly regret bringing it up to Bill Maher.

Coons and O'Donnell have both defended their pasts recently, a situation Coons called "disappointing."

A college newspaper article written by Coons in which he called himself a "bearded Marxist" drew attention from critics this week. But in an interview that aired on John King, USA, Coons said the article was meant to be, "tongue and cheek."

"I am not now, nor have I ever been a Marxist or an enemy of the people of the United States," Coons said. "What really matters is not what was said in some student newspaper or what was said in some interview 10 or 20 years ago."

Coons also addressed his relationship with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who recently called Coons "my pet."

I’d pick a witch over a marxist anytime.

Coons worships the false god Moloch by supporting abortion, carving up embryos, and the incredibly barbaric practice of sucking the brain out of a child being born (PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION)

Oh man! Coons?!? That is beyond cliche!

Classic...Really classic. The only thing that coud have been better is if his name had been 'Buck' or 'Hootch'.

Wow, after a great title, CNN couldn't possibly have featured a more thoroughly boring article.

"Some stuff sorta happened. Nothing important. Back to you Bill."

Coons has already represented the people and done a terrible, terrible job.

He was County Executive of New Castle county and left its finances in a shambles.

His record in office is everything that is the problem with the Democrat party.

The guy is so out of the loop he doesn’t even know that the expression is “tongue IN cheek”, not “tongue and cheek”.

Good gravy, are ALL incumbent politicians illiterate in addition to being innumerate?

The bearded Marxist is brilliant, brilliant!!!

As a matter of fact, all Democrats are brilliant, absolutely brilliant, while all non-democrats are knuckle-dragging, stupid, idiotic, dumb, gun-loving, bible-thumping
dopes.

Marxist-Democrats are so brilliant, so smart, so intellectual, that they can figure out one hundred things at once and explain them through both sides of their mouth
at the same time, while building infrastructure, changing society, turning the evil capitalist system into a
Democrat paradise, all the while deciding that everyone in flyover country is a neanderthal.

Yes, they are brilliant, absolutely brilliant!!!

/sarcasm/

IMHO

Sadly, the bearded Marxist does represent those who voted for Obama.
