Then he should have sneaked across our southern border and said “No Se Habla”.....all would have been forgiven. And the arresting officers could have been brought up on charges. Now, he’ll just have to live with Stroker’s Auntie.

A 22-year-old Lebanese immigrant accused of placing a backpack he thought contained a bomb near Chicago's Wrigley Field is no terrorist...

That's the kind of logic that has made liberalism the smashing success it is.

This is what we’re up against: people who are willing to blow up a bunch of people they don’t know to gain something, be it 72 virgins, fame, fortune, or their version of the American dream. Children of the Devil.

So he just wanted to get attention and impress his friends. I see. Just another misunderstood, lonely anti-hero. Riiiight.

Had he succeeded , his dream would have been realized.

He could have had any DNC , ABC,NBC, MSNBC position he wanted.

First, I'm all for letting this alien rot in jail, he's no friend of us.

But without the FBI involvement in all probability he would only have been a bigmouth jerk who would not have done anything. Read the whole story, including this:

The complaint also says Hassoun waffled about his plans and motivations, talking about profiting monetarily. He also discussed wanting to spark revolution in Chicago, and he spoke of poisoning Lake Michigan...
Abraham said Hassoun did not appear to have any affiliation with extremists. Although Hassoun came from a region in Lebanon where most people are Shia Muslims, Abraham said, he wasn't religious himself — drinking and often going to nightclubs.

"He thought of himself as a ladies man," Abraham said. "He was from one girl to another — breaking up with people really fast. He was having problems."

This has been the case in other recent "terrorist" plots; government informants instigating plots that would never have gotten to the point they did without the government's direct involvement. This is similar to the "militia" alleged plots back in the '80s.

All this shows is that there are plenty of bad actors out there who would act against us given the opportunity; (and why are these people allowed in the US anyway) but these busts don't show that the government has any ability to infiltrate and terminate actual terrorist plots.

But it sure makes it look like the cop is on the beat. But in fact it is an illusion; the FBI is buddy buddy with terrorist associated imams, and will not look too closely at Wahhabist controlled mosques where anti-American plots are hatched.
