ABC, CBS, the Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, Bloomberg, USA Today, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and the San Francisco Chronicle all reported on the arrests today without party affiliations mentioned. Also that one site that rhymes with stalker. Me: "For any election the left gets a few point advantage just from the effect of this media bias."

It’s pathetic social manipulation of the masses.
Link goes to NB but says (page not found)
Apparently the Democrat talking points state that these are non-partisan positions, so party affiliation didn’t appear on the ballot. Which is true, but the issue isn’t whether the voters knew they were voting for Democrats, the issue whether these folks ARE Democrats. The Orange County Register, in a July story on Bell, contacted the registrar of voters and confirmed that all but one was registered as a Democrat, then discovered that the other one regularly supported Democrat causes and candidates. So, it’s not like the information wasn’t available.
They also never said that they breathed air. Some things the press just assumes you know to be true.

“His campaign under siege after his wife’s admission this week to falsifying federal tax returns, Congressman John Tierney said Friday he knew very little about her management of a bank account full of illegal gambling profits.
“I couldn’t tell you if there was $5 going through there or $500. It was her family’s stuff,” he said.”
“The kids, all teenagers, were a “handful.” Their mother was also away in Florida receiving treatment for health issues. Besides Patrice, a young au pair was there for the kids.
“She was part of the problem,” Tierney said of the au pair. “She wasn’t doing her job. The kids were ruling the roost.”
In August, Eremian and Patrice Tierney’s other brother, Daniel, were indicted on charges that included racketeering, money laundering and operating an illegal gambling business. Robert Eremian is currently a federal fugitive.”
