Damn straight!!! Any and all Republicans who get anything from GM better give it back!
I lived in a trailer park for 20 years. There are some good people in trailer parks. In Florida, trailer park doesn’t have the connotation that other places have. Huge communities of retirees live in trailer parks...........
Hmmmmmmmmmm
If Cantor has a brain he will return the GM (taxpayer) money.
True. I was just joshing with you....your first post was very accurate overall.
Yes how ever Democrats never rule by the constitution.
Are there any non-union US made cars that aren’t $50k or more speciality cars?
I guess one could buy a VW. Better to have foreign unions ruin foreign countries than ours.
I don’t want to buy another GM car in my life.
No, it was GM. The UAW had no ownership stake in GM prior to Obama’s nationalization of the company. Obama’s plan gave cents on the dollar to existing GM bondholders while handing a large ownership stake to the UAW.
Google “GM Bondholders Screwed” to read up on this.
Republicans should make an inviolate rule to reject all donations from unions and government owned enterprises.
Double-wides, on large lots - with ceiling higher than those in MY home.
I’d move to one of those trailer parks. Lots of good people we know have retired to them.
Their only problems are hurricanes and termites.................
Democrat Motors.
Everything that is wrong right now w/ this country in a nutshell.
If they give any to a Republican, there is a trap somewhere.
This makes no sense but why am I not surprised at that?
Good point. Government Motors giving to Cantor could simply be nothing more than political cover.
GM stock is now quoted around $0.69 per share, and trading isn’t happening, i.e, “volume” traded is zero.
Why isn’t the stock being traded?
Good point.
Cantor probably didn’t even know about the donation; as far as I know, staffers (for anybody) just take whatever a member of the public hands them, and say, “Thank you.” It’s embarrassing, yes, but not proof of anything.
