When did John Cook stop beating his wife?

When he started fighting back.

Here is a place to turn John Cook in for suspicion of having child porn:

There was an article today about a guy in England put kiddie porn on a guys computer whose job he wanted. He’s serving i think 12 years for the scam.

Well said, rlmorel!

The last thing I need is someone trying to tie me to a kiddie porn site...LOL

Actually, I would not like to have to discuss it with a person who thought they had the better of me in a Conservative discussion.

If ever a website existed where its denizens would beat the he** out of a child pornographer, FreeRepublic is it.

I can’t help but take this a little personally. I hope JimRob goes for the jugular.

Agreed...the whole thing is a setup, designed to keep conservatives from being able to discuss issues.

This is a non-issue, as the republic burns.

Somebody wrote this comment on the Business Insider story: “This guy [John Cook] is pretty slimy. He admitted in his Daily KOS journal he added kiddie porn links to profile pages on the website ‘Free Republic’ to play a game and test how long they would last. He then wrote an article accusing the site of hosting those links.. Real slimy fella.”

isn't promoting illegal acts of violence against children for the purpose of malicious libel a felony ? domestic terrorism ?

I agree. Its as if they have slandered all of us. I can't imagine any true FReeper tolerating a pervert for a split second! And I certainly wouldn't be a part of such wickedness! Go get em!

AOL's a crap ISP to start with, which is why I've never had them. Even so, what I was thinking was a simple suit of $18 million would (at $90,000 per quarterly Freepathon, and adjusted accordingly for inflation and cost-of-living increases) put us in such good stead as never to need another 'Thon until Q1, 2061.

Of course, taking them for all they've got? Can you say 45th Century?! Sure ... I knew you could, right after we shut 'em down on general principles for peddling seventh-rate ISPs and software.

Please let us know if FR is satisfied with the retraction and this is the end of the story or if there will be further updates.
