Iranian leader wants 'fact-finding mission' into causes of 9/11 attacks By Michael O'Brien - 09/24/10 02:41 PM ET
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for the creation of a "fact-finding mission" to determine the cause of the 9/11 attacks.
Ahmadinejad said he has theories about the causes of the 9/11 attacks, insinuating during an interview with Fox News Channel that he believes the U.S. might be to blame.
"I did not give an opinion of my own, I suggested that a fact-finding group or mission should be formed to delve into the truth," Ahmadinejad said in an interview on Friday. "The fact-finding group can shed light on who the perpetrators were."
Ahmadinejad voiced similar sentiments on Thursday during a speech before the United National General Assembly, a speech that prompted a walk-out from U.S. diplomats attending the speech.
President Obama condemned Ahmadinejad's remarks in an interview on Friday with BBC Persian, a station with heavy presence in Iran.
"Well, it was offensive. It was hateful," Obama said. "And particularly for him to make the statement here in Manhattan, just a little north of Ground Zero, where families lost their loved ones, people of all faiths, all ethnicities who see this as the seminal tragedy of this generation, for him to make a statement like that was inexcusable."
Ahmadinejad listed off a series of questions he wanted answered by the fact-finding probe. He said: "Do you think the entire world has to accept what the U.S. government tells them? Or do you think perhaps a fact-finding mission is necessary to tell the world about the incident? The fact-finding group can shed light on who the perpetrators were. Who is al Qaeda and where does it exist? Who was it backed by and supported by? All these questions should come to light. Where do they receive their financial resources? How come they were able to circumvent the security in the United States?"
The full interview will air at 3 and 7 p.m. on Fox News this evening.
I would like to see us take all the extra nukes that Obama is willing to give up and drop them on this guy’s head.
“You accuse us of violating UN sanctions? umm ... LOOK! NINE YEARS AGO! OVER THERE!”
Hey Nut-job, ask Obama to help. He’s got nothing to do these days. Just make sure you do all of your investigatin’ on the golf course.
To bad, it’s none of nut jobs business.....
I’m all for a fact-finding mission. First, we need to simulate the event.
Missile wculd mimic the effect of airplanes, and any Iranian building that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad happens to be in could stand in for the World Trade Center. Let’s see what happens.
Next Up on NutJob Central: Ahmad Ahmadinejad talks with Rosie O’Donnell about structural failure mechanisms in high-rise buildings.
How about a fact finding mission on the best way to send this pint-sized Islamic nutjob with the Napoleon complex into the bowels of history.
Good idea.
Bill Ayers is available.
Hmm I stopped watching Fox some time ago. I see they gave him air time.
I want a fact-finding commission into the fact that one of the hostages held for 444 days in Iran saw this POS picture after he was named leader of Iran & claimed immediately that this crackpot was the leader of the rebels who took them hostage & held them for 444 days.
Ahmadinejad! I’ve got your fact findings right here A#$hole!
Didn’t know Imadinnerjacket was a Truther.
Fact finding mission? We have one...the 9-11 Commission Report. LOL!

How’s THAT for an investigative result?
Why is Fox News Channel giving that little Persian prick a microphone and a camera to spew his garbage?
You're right - he does sound like a dem - dems get creepier every year.
