Listening tp my usual Saturday morning liberal talkradio show, it was apparent that this is to be one of the 'rats talking points--that the electorate is too "unsophisticated" or too ignorant to know what they are voting for. It came up twice in two different seminar calls.

My question is, how do they expect to woo voters by calling them stupid? Maybe they think the voter will decide to vote 'rat just to prove to himself he's not stupid. If so that is a very long shot as far as making any numerical difference. Most voters will feel insulted and react negatively, if at all.

>>liberal talkradio show

I remember the schadenfreude I got when I tuned to
what was then Boston’s liberal talk station (now it’s
Rush Radio 1200) in 2004 and Al Franken and friends sounded
down—no, they sounded like they hadn’t slept in days—
just after the election, going over the ways that Bush
could have cheated to win and how they could try to fight it.

Franken did his show from the Boston area during the election, expecting a big Kerry win. What happened—
well, google “Kerry party turns to tears, bitterness”
to see what happened.
