The Dems control the White House, both houses of Congress, the education system, and most of the media. If the voters are clueless, uninformed, and have short attention spans then Kerry must think the voters are just plain stupid and the idiot journalists and teachers have screwed up big time.

Every time some 'prominent' lefty Democrat opens his or her mouth and gratuitously insults the people of America, who put Obama and the Democrats in power two years ago and pay the taxes the Democrats waste on Marxist income distribution schemes, they just ensure a Republican electoral tsunami on election day (November 2nd).
