Czech president tells UN to stay out of economics

Czech President Vaclav Klaus on Saturday criticized U.N. calls for increased "global governance" of the world's economy, saying the world body should leave that role to national governments.

The solution to dealing with the global economic crisis, Klaus told the U.N. General Assembly, did not lie in "creating new governmental and supranational agencies, or in aiming at global governance of the world economy."

"On the contrary, this is the time for international organizations, including the United Nations, to reduce their expenditures, make their administrations thinner, and leave the solutions to the governments of member states," he said.

This is funny. That the UN thinks “global governance” with its selfish, corrupt etc ways could even think of efficiency, integrity or competence.

Local urban school boards and city councils fight like children, so what would the zoo look like if these idiots were put in charge?

It’s a laugher to even think the Obamas of the world could govern anything.

It will be an uphill battle for the NWO, because of all the egomaniac dictators fighting to see who gets to be the boss...

Klaus makes me especially proud of my family’s heritage. The beauty of the human community is that when one group of us forgets the lessons of history, somewhere a brave and intelligent individual or group rises up to remind us. He’s not the only one thinking this, but he’s one of very few who will say it and have the stature to be heard.

Vaclav Klaus would make an excellent President for the US. Hey, we already have a failed Kenyan Muslim....why not an intelligent and honest Czech?

Love this man’s honesty.

Yes, the UN should stay out of economics. Sad that many GOP who support the Free Trade Globalist agenda of the UN

Yes, me too. Czechs like him have a strong independent streak that doesn't put up with a lot of crap. Vlaclav Klaus also opposed the Albanian unilateral declaration of Kosovo Independence, even when there was a lot of political pressure on him to give in.

Vaclav Klaus is a class act - an almost solitary hero to those in the world who still have a moral core.

Just like The “Munich betrayal” in 1938, which happened when Western European powers decided that frontier regions of what was then Czechoslovakia were to be given to Nazi Germany, Hungary and Poland the betrayal against Serbia perpetrated was by international criminal cabal a few years ago with Kosovo —

What is next up their filthy sleeves?

Nations, i.e. the competition between and amongst them, are nature’s way of weeding out bad political ideas. The human race would go extinct within two generations of global government.
