She runs for President, people see her, directly, in debates, unfiltered. They like her or they don’t. When do the high negatives become a problem? November 2012? If Palin can’t get the message out as the nominee, lower her unfavorables by just being herself, I dunno.

Sarah Palin shouldn't have had the negatives or the frivilous lawsuits (which were all dismissed, save for one on a technicality) but she got them anyway, because she just has to be destroyed for being genuine and conservative, so now she has an uphill battle, and you think it's just a matter of "They like her or they don’t."

Sheesh.

She gets the nomination. there will be plenty of time to people to make up their mind about sarah by seeing the real sarah.

I think that if they didn’t want her out front, for whatever reason, they could’ve ignored her.

Christine gets money, lots of it, from these attacks. She was broke. TV says “no need to talk about Christine”, Christine is not covered. No money. It’s very possible this election could’ve just passed along without attention. That would’ve been likely a Castle victory. But this became a spotlight race, and Christine won. Back in May, the hits were predictable. On balance, a benefit. We’ll know in November.

These hits from SNL give an even greater excuse for favorable coverage from Fox News. More time, longer interviews, the time to really explain everything and get people to love her. 60 Minutes Clinton Super Bowl.

But I think that it could be treated just like a distraction and hammer on the core message. Coons will vote the way Obama wants. I will vote the opposite. And isn’t that most of the voters vote on? She’s a celebrity now. She can go somewhere and talk to voters and they’d be talking to somebody they saw on SNL. They’d like that I think. Walk around fairs and such, shake hands. But it’s the famous Christine O’Donnell who is actually really cool and nice.
