Rep. Debbie Halvorson (D-IL) is running against Republican Challenger Adam Kinzinger. A protest was organized in which Kinzinger was portrayed as Adolf Hitler. Halvorson's campaign denied any involvement until a video was released by a person who followed the protesters after the demonstraion was over back to the Halvorson campaign office and filmed them going back in. Possible, I suppose, that, this was organized without her personal consent...but were these people forced to apologize and any paid staff forced to resign who were involved?
If these people actually came from her campaign office, she should be publicly confronted about it. The RATS are so upset about Obama/Hitler comparisons they should fire anybody in their own ranks who does the same thing.
My thinking on these sorts of incidents is that even if “overzealous staffers” did it, they WERE staffers, and their putative superior lost control.
In large, multi-jurisdictional elections there can be some latitude, but not in a single office sort of campaign, IMO.

If you go to his site, you can see the same bunch has done this to others as well with the same header and footer. This is an organized effort as both signs I saw had the same header of Naz-Tea Party.
