NEW BRUNSWICK Two Rutgers University students have been charged with invasion of privacy for secretly placing a camera in another students dormitory room and transmitting a sexual encounter on the internet, Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Rutgers University Police Chief Rhonda Harris announced today.
Dharun Ravi, 18, of Plainsboro and Molly W. Wei, 18, of Princeton have been charged with two counts each of invasion of privacy for allegedly using the camera to view and transmit a live image of an 18-year-old student in Piscataway on Sept. 19.

Kids get more idiotic as the generations go on.
I guess shaving cream on the door handles just doesn’t cut it any longer.
Scarlet Nights of Rutgers. Can one get a letter in that sport? A Scarlet Letter perhaps?
Unless the victim is more minority than the perps.
They don't say, but it's obviously a female student. A male would have broadcast it himself. (Why don't they say? Female reticence is not PC to acknowledge?)
Something tells me we won’t be reviewing the evidence of FR to determine guilt or innocence.
Isn’t that pretty much the plot of a movie currently in or about to hit the theaters?
RICH KIDS GOT WAAAY TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS.............
My bet is this would never happen again.
it’s as if they had seen American Pie 187 times since the eighth grade...
We used to fill a big manila envelop with shaving cream. Fit the opening under the door and then drop a book on it.
Usually get great coverage.
The old-style Album Covers also worked very well.
Album cover, baby powder, stack of heavy books dropped from about 5 feet.
We drilled a hole in the wall, inserted a straw and blew shaving cream out about 1 foot above his head in his bed at 2 am. Life was more entertaining with an entire floor of engineering students.
Amazing how slow the reaction time can be when awakened with such “what the heck is happening” disbelief. We had emptied nearly the whole can before they broke in.
Then again, we have to say this, but really did the police just get their names out of the phone book? I mean, is there really any chance they didn't do it?
Also, ah, where's the link to the movie they put on the Internet? You know, I'd just like to review the evidence myself to be sure. Trying to be thorough here.

Yep. Those ketchup packs are pretty good too.
So tell me about your theory of evolution now....
