Skip to comments.Fiscal Conservatism With an Attitude: Top 5 Chris Christie Videos
Posted on 09/29/2010 12:08:29 PM PDT by HorowitzianConservative
In little to no time, Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey has become one of the most beloved and admired conservatives in the country. Christie, a son of an Irish father and a Sicilian mother, has a simple approach to politics: he's always honest, afraid of no one, and speaks truth to power. If some people don't want to hear the truth because they fear it, well, that's their problem. He says what he believes, and he does what he says, the consequences be damned.
At a time when Washington D.C. is controlled by ideological leftists who are constantly pushing a radical progressive agenda, and conservatives in the nation's capitol are deemed too weak kneed and civil by many conservatives, they consider Governor Christie's style a fresh breath of air. Finally, conservative activists seem to believe, there is one of them in a position of power who holds no barrels and takes no prisoners.
While the Right adores The Phenomenon from New Jersey, the Left has come to loath him. They hate him because he's willing to take them on, and refuses to retreat, even when he's under fire from the nation's most powerful unions.
Here are the top five moments of Governor Christie showing progressives his teeth. Watch and enjoy

Absolutely LOVE Chris Christi. I really do with Governor Brewer would invite him down to see our border and the damage that is done by illegals so he can make an informed decision on his immigration stance.
If he runs for prez, he’s got my vote.
He’s got more cojones than the entire Obamaloon cabinet combined.
"Bars no holds," maybe? If not what is with these "barrels?" Is that a New Jerseyism?
In comments just after he was elected, he said that he woudl govern as if he was goign to be a on-term governonr..IOW...do the right things and not worry about hsi reelection..it would take care of itself..
As a Jerseyan I like what he is doing on the fiscal level which is where we need the most help. However he is not right on a lot of other conservative issues, the immigration problem being one of them. Having said that I will agree that he is a breath of fresh air to us. He really does not take any guff. I also think that we would be jumping the gun to consider him as president.
Because we love, love, love the Gov ping.
I didn’t get that either.
That he is so unique among politicians in a nation of ~ 300 mil people really speaks to how broken the system is.
Horowitizian Conservative, I guess you really love Christie.
As a New Jersey Resident, I have to admit he is great, a real refeshing change from the usual run of tax and spend liberals.
BUT I DON’T WANT THIS GUY ANYWHERE NEAR THE WHITE HOUSE _ NOT EVER.
He is anti-Second Amendment, having appointed an anti-gun DEMOCRAT as his Attorney General.
He refused to criticize the construction of the 9-11 Mosque and suggested it was a “local issue”.
He WENT OUT OF HIS WAY to support Castle in the GOP primary in Delaware - Catle having voted in favor of Obamacare, the Obamastimulus and Cap and Trade.
He has refused to be a party to the suit against Obamacare.
He is on record as stating that illegal aliens are not breaking any federal laws by being here.
He is HARDLY a conservative icon.
Chris Christie and New Jersey - PERFECT together. Chris Christie and Washington, D.C. - NO WAY!
I wouldn’t say I really love Christie. Thanks for the info.
Gov Christie is one of the best I’ve ever seen at “thinking on his feet” and speaking his mind in a clear, concise manner. He seems to have the facts and figures memorized and has to be one of the smartest guys in politics. I’d love to see a debate between him and Hussein 0bama or “Idiot Joe” Biden.
Oh man, that was great. But David omitted what I think is the best one. Enjoy!
