More "pranks" from wonderful Dharun Ravi. This evil SOB should get 10 years in NJ state prison.
But you know that. Because YOU posted it.
Both these monsters deserve the death penalty.
Not the same story. LOL! I have to wade through BS like Willie Green pimping light and HS rail, Apple pimping for some new dumb gadget, pimping for televangelists.
This is not the same story. Your hero Ravi tried to film another student after the first one.
Dharun Ravi’s photo should be sent all over the internet....I hope someone catches the perverts photo and does it
So what? Did that other student commit suicide as well?
I still can’t see how or why you are buying into the special rights for gays crapola.
If the guy was doing a girl in his college dorm, you wouldn’t be calling for the death penalty for the two who taped him.
So because he’s gay - you feel “his killers” deserve an extra measure of punishment?
My educated guess is that the two perps were obama supporters. Just sayin’
Frantzie is from Iceland. They have a "married" lesbian PM.
The guy Ravi taped was his roommate and was gay. Ravi was tired of walking into his dorm room and catching his roommate being intimate with guys. So he decided to tape him. Bad situation all around.
perhaps the family did not know and would have disowned him if they found out.
either way this does seem to be a stalking type situation and worthy of at least manslaughter charges.
The perps seem to get their jollies from invading others' privacy. One would expect more out of Rutgers students...
"Two days later, Ravi posted another entry directing his nearly 150 Twitter followers to iChat, an internet messaging service with a live video feed."
"Anyone with iChat, I dare you to video chat me between the hours of 9:30 and 12. Yes it's happening again," Ravi wrote in the Sept. 21 post.
"Ravi and Wei who were classmates at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North before enrolling at Rutgers this fall...."
Nope. They shared a dorm room. Who expects privacy in a shared room?
Thanks. Pure evil. Hopefully Ravi will get 5 years plus another 5 years. Maybe Molly and Ravi’s can get sued by the kid’s parents too. Just mean.
I am not from Iceland - just visiting. This is not a gay issue and I am not promoting a gay agenda. It is about two bullies who hopefully will get at least 5 years in jail. Ravi might get more.
What if it had been your daughter or sister on a live feed? What if it was your bank or health records Ravi posted on teh web?
Where did you read any of that? Or did you make it up?
Wow! Your avatar looks really g*y.
You know they have “cures” for that now. You should look into it. You could be cured in no time. I will pray for you.
I hope this ruins the lives of these two scumbags. I hope they never get a job in their life.
There are certain places where people can reasonably expect to have privacy. A college dorm room is not one of those places.
Why did this student decide to have sex in a place where he knew that his roommate or any other person could walk in on him at any time? Obviously, the student was not modest or private.
I would not room with such a person.
Why would he commit suicide? He obviously didn’t care who saw him.
"Ravi was a ping-pong player and Frisbee enthusiast, while Wei was described by one friend as a dedicated student from a strict household.
"She studies a lot," said the 17-year-old, who attended West Windsor-Plainsboro High School with the pair. "She gets good grades. She never did anything bad."

I agree with you. I never posted this to be a gay issue. These two are bullies.
Somebody’s kid here might run across Ravi in the future or Molly at their job. Evil little b*stards. I loathe people who bully other people.
You are totally correct on this thread Frantzie.
The flag indicates place of residence. I don't put the flag of a place I am just visiting on my homepage.
This is not a gay issue
Yes it is. If the young man hadn't had homosexual sex, there would have been nothing to tape or broadcast. That was the catalyst.
What if it had been your daughter or sister on a live feed?
Deflection but it doesn't matter because it wouldn't have been either of them.
What if it was your bank or health records Ravi posted on teh web?
He wasn't my roommate and wasn't shut out of my room. More deflection.
Maybe the roommate should have rented a motel room?
I get the first part. The second part, not so much.
Because he asked his roommate for privacy for a specified period of time and the roommate agreed to give him privacy. Seems like a reasonable expectation that a roommate would honor the agreement.
'Clementi, a 2010 graduate of Ridgewood High School in New Jersey, played the violin and listed a lyric from the song "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" on his Facebook page: "what do you get when you kiss a guy? You get enough germs to catch pneumonia..." '
“Because he asked his roommate for privacy for a specified period of time and the roommate agreed to give him privacy.”
A very naive expectation at best. Like I said, if he really wanted privacy he should have rented a motel room.
No where in there does it say this...
Ravi was tired of walking into his dorm room and catching his roommate being intimate with guys. So he decided to tape him.

Yes, I have already been told that agreements between roommates don’t mean anything. Says more about you than anyone else.
Admittedly I get all my news on this very sad death of an 18 year kid via Iceland.
The reports are that Ravi, the suposedly victimized normal hetero dude, proclaimed on his Facebook rave porn invitation that his 18 year old roomate “had requested privacy”, “AGAIN”.
So even the first part is a fraud.
Ravi is a voyeuristic freak show Jerry Spinger wannabe puke.
At least the 18 year old kid was man enough to jump off of the George Washington bridge.
“The guy Ravi taped was his roommate and was gay. Ravi was tired of walking into his dorm room and catching his roommate being intimate with guys. So he decided to tape him. Bad situation all around.”
The issue at at the root of this, then, is that the university trampled Ravi’s God-given right to avoid the society of sodomites.
Zhuang told ABC News he believes Ravi was excited to go to Rutgers and believes the media portrayals of Ravi as possibly homophobic or a serious prankster are not true. "I'm in shock, I didn't expect this to happen and I am just speechless. He's normally very nice and I don't think that this is a representation of him," said Zhuang. "He's very very open minded and he, like if it had been a girl in the room it wouldn't have been any different," he said.
Ravi, Wei, Zhuang... I always wondered why it seemed every caucasian from Jersey went to college in the midwest.
WTF? Because someone kills themself doing something embarrassing?
“Says more about you than anyone else.”
Thank you for attacking me personally. I hope you gleam some sort of satisfaction with your personal attack.
Actually, I have worked in the public school system and in colleges for most of my public career. I have counseled numerous students. I am very familiar with their lifestyles and antics while involved in University life.
What is...is. And, a large number of students wash out way before they complete their third semester. It is usually due to antics and lifestyles that are inconsistent with success in College or University.
A lot of these students aren’t ready for a serious go at University life and many think they are free from parents and guardians and can live any way they want without suffering any consequences to their actions.
Sounds like this student was very talented and had been given plenty of opportunity for success. It is too bad that he wasn’t more mature and prepared to live as an adult.
I thought it was because of lower out of state tuition. That’s what my NJ friends in the ‘70s told me. That and the fact that Boulder was 2,000 miles away from their parents. YMMV.
How does any of that explain your view that an agreement between roommates is a “naive expectation at best?” Isn’t that what you said?
How does any of that explain your view that an agreement between roommates is a naive expectation at best? Isnt that what you said?
Remember most of these students end up being roommates to complete strangers. Would you expect that type of respect from someone that you really don’t know or someone that really doesn’t know you?
I certainly wouldn’t take that chance nor would most reasonable and mature individuals.
omg. !! Their politics make no difference. geez.....
Totally agree with you. This is not a gay issue or a political issue. It’s about revolting and disgusting actions that deserve the most severe penalty available.
“There are certain places where people can reasonably expect to have privacy. A college dorm room is not one of those places.”
I’m not so sure any judge in America would agree with you. You’re basically saying it is okay for someone to film and broadcast your image on the internet without your permission while you have sex - just because it is in your own dorm room. If his door was shut, that poor gay kid had every expectation of privacy under the law when it came to being unknowingly filmed and broadcast on the internet.
What a freak. Who says a thing like that. --a gutless and heartless human being.
I got it from my college roommate and he got it from me. When someone makes an agreement with me I expect them to live up to it. Even when I was 18 and even younger. Sometimes I was disappointed but I still had an expectation that they would honor the agreement and I don't think that was unreasonable.
No one ever broke an agreement with me with the intention of humiliating me. I think it is even more reasonable to expect that that not happen.
I bend my knee to thou annointed pinacle of creation.
Are we OK now then?
“Ravi was tired of walking into his dorm room and catching his roommate being intimate with guys”
The article accompanying this story on another thread stated that the deceased asked for use of the room until midnight.
From that article-
“Roommate asked for the room till midnight,” read the post from Dharun Ravi, 18. “I went into Molly’s room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay.”
I'm thinking it was tragic that a person would take their own life.
And you think it was a man-up thing?
