CNN's John King on Wednesday mocked Barack Obama for calling Fox News a "destructive" force in our society while at practically the same time a White House spokesman was saying MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow provide "an invaluable service" to the country.

JOHN KING, HOST: "Sometimes you feel sad to be left out of a big debate. This is not one of those sometimes. In an interview with "Rolling Stone," President Obama voiced the opinion that Fox News is a "destructive" force in our society. On the other hand, the left hand in this case, Obama spokesman Bill Burton said the President believes MSNBC commentators Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow provide "an invaluable service" to that same society and democracy."

Obama forgot to add: “and CNN is irrelevant”.

Nothing like staying above the fray.
What a whining little baby we have for a president.

I guess CNN has finally realized that once you are part of the Emperor's cheering team means you have to stay a part of that team no matter what happens.

I don't take this comment as a change of policy at CNN.
Rather, it is realization that they too are inside the bulls eye.

If Obama is bitching about Fox News, does that mean that he now has an “enemies list” just like Nixon did?

Keith Olberman and Rachel Madcow are invaluable?

Gag time.

That is enough to make a buzzard puke.

With cnn's current ratings, bucked up by being carried in airports and other public places, I don't know how any advertiser can pay money for time on the channel.

The rates must be so low, that even if only a few people watch, it's good business, kinda like advertising in a local newspaper for $50/per full page ad.

Ed Schultz was left out of the equation. His feelings are hurt.

The “Main Stream Media” engages in AGITPROP: Agitation and propaganda. The word comes from the Agitation and Propaganda section of the Soviet Union’s Communist Party’s Central Committee. It was responsible for the education of the people after the 1917 Revolution.

This is no longer a matter of bias. THIS OURIGHT PROPOGANDA. The American People are being subjected to a RE-EDUCATION program. This includes the schools, colleges, liberal churches, unions, movies, radio, TV, magazines, and newspapers. Even the work[lace has been transformed in the name of political correctness.

And the “agitation” agenda is to portray Tea Party people and other conservatives as racist, homophobic, stupid, selfish, insensitve, power-hungry reactionaries. This is meant to

That’s what the IDIOT CONVENTION in Washington is all about today.

AGITPROP: The strategy of the leftist funding organizations to destroy our country.

Well, he wasn’t a headline because no one knows who the hell he is, but, he was used as an example:

“And, according to the White House, this is ‘an invaluable service.’” He then showed clips from “The Ed Show” and “Countdown.”

Can’t lay my hands on it at the moment, but I saw something the other day saying that most of CNN’s money came from foreign broadcasting.

I say bravo to John King. He nails it. Yes, his network has leaned left to a degree, but they are far fairer than MSNBC, that's for sure. I've always considered King a pretty straight shooter and I commend him for noting the hypocrisy.

If the shoe were on the other foot do you really think King (or anyone else at CNN)would have protested? I seriously doubt it......

Obama is not in favor of freedom of the press. He wants the media to issue propaganda on his behalf.

I won't speculate on that. I'll bash CNN when they are partisan hacks, but I will also give them credit when they do the right thing. Of course, I will never give MSNBC credit because they will always be a partisan aparachick of the DNC...

Bullseye. Dead right on.

And until conservatives begin realizing that this is the source and origin of today’s universal lib-think, we will never really change things on any kind of a long-term basis.

I’ve posted this before, but my mother worked as an FBI typist in WWII, and saw what the communists were planning here to take over: take over education at all levels, “agitprop” kids from 6 to 25, take over the media, and then government. It’s all happened.

We may rejoice to see a turn in November, but it can’t be long term until there is a plan that is then implemented to reverse AGITPROP.

Thanks SC Pete
