I said a prayer for him last night. I knew him years ago, before he was married. He wasn’t a bad guy, as far as I was concerned. Can’t believe he was so stupid. I don’t think he’s going to find another job.

I understand how you feel. I am of latin descent, been in S. Florida many many years and remember him in his early days at Channel 7. I remember thinking more than 20 years ago that he could be a big time anchor but have been very disappointed in his lefty bloviating in recent years. It’s one thing to be liberal, another to be unserious and silly.
I don’t wish him harm but his style of silliness is uninteresting and not in demand as it pertains to real news reporting. Perhaps his future is not news but E! or a game show or something liberals like that has nothing to do with news. Liberal news is dying and I would agree that his prospects for a decent future in news probably don’t look good.
Last I heard, he retired. He moved to Toronto and broadcast to Florida from there prior to leaving the airwaves.
