Kathleen Parker: I'm 'Slightly to the Right of Center;' Fan of Obama
newsbuster ^ | 10/1/10 | Matt Balan

Posted on 10/01/2010 8:19:50 PM PDT by pissant

On Thursday's Larry King Live, future anchor Kathleen Parker verified her tenuous conservative credentials, as she identified herself as a "conservative," but added, "a pox on everybody's house, as far as I'm concerned." She later confessed that she "would put myself...slightly to the right of center," and that she was "a big fan of Barack Obama as he came into office...I didn't want him to fail."

Anchor Larry King brought on Parker and future co-host Eliot Spitzer of "Client Number Nine" fame during the first half of the 9 pm Eastern hour. Three minutes in, King asked about the format of the show, which begins on October 4. After the two briefly described it, the columnist stated that "Eliot is identified as a Democrat and I'm identified as a conservative." Spitzer replied, "Well, you said Democrat/conservative, not Republican," and the resulting exchange led to Parker revealing how she saw her position politically.

Just right of center? Like Olberman and Matthews are just left of center.

Like ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and the NY Slimes, Kathleen Parker is best entirely ignored. Life is too short to waste any of it on her.

Is there a reason we’ve never seen Parker on the same TV program with David Brooks? I think they are the same person.

I watched a little bit of them on Larry King last night. She’s so phony she’s completely unwatchable. And for me and my house I prefer Star Parker over this other Parker.

So does Parker’s contract include a guarantee that she won’t get hit on by her co-host?

Why didn’t that idiot ever do time behind bars? What about the Mann act?

She said on Larry King that she didn’t write about sex scandals. I remember reading an article where she harped about Brittany Spears. Other than that does anyone recall a single article that she wrote that was even remotely memorable (other than trashedPalin in ‘08 and gooing over Obama)?

Well, if you think that worshipping Hitler is a conservative thing to do—and most Liberals accept the Marxist lie that Hitler was on the “right”—then maybe that explains what she means.

Because Obama resembles that national socialist Hitler in quite a number of ways—including racism, narcissism, and love of power.

“didn’t want him to fail”, oh what a subtle dig at Limbaugh. Took me almost four milliseconds to see it, it’s that subtle.

Yep a Conservative with a Capitol C, ubetcha.

Did she want Bush to fail, I wonder?

Slightly right of center?

She bashes Palin and social conservatives, is pro-gay marriage, pro-choice, praises O’Bummer for being smart, and rarely, if ever, worries about his socialist rampage.

How about leaning to the left?

On a scale of 1-10 on the success of her CNN show with Love Potion #9, I give it a -7. Ms. Iampoor, of This Week infamy on ABC, is another one that needs to have a Plan B ready.

Kathleen Parker, she’s slightly right of center in DC. A town that votes 90% socialist and of course an Obama voter. I attack conservatives.

Oh, I think Barry has done quite a bit to Wall Street. Which is exactly why we still have no recovery and unemployment at 10%.

CNN is desperately trying to promote this show. Who the hell will watch it? Folks will look at it on the guide and say, “Elliot Spitzer? Why does he have a show? And who is this Kathleen Parker? Did he do her too?”
