Glenn Beck knows the media will under-report attendance, so he showed this pic on his show yesterday.
The center, leading to the reflecting pool, holds 250,000. The open grass area next to it was, I can't remember, I think another 350,000.

The amount of money spent to pick up trash at both events should be public information. As well as the man hours spent picking up the trash.
If someone knows how to access this information it would put the issue to rest.
It would be a simple calculation to compare the two events.
