The Israeli military is investigating a video which has surfaced on the internet showing a soldier dancing around a Palestinian woman prisoner who is bound and blindfolded.
The video shows a soldier gyrating to music as the woman sits against the wall with her hands tied and her eyes bound.
The video has been posted on YouTube and has been broadcast on Israeli television.
The Palestinian Authority has condemned the video, calling it deeply offensive to the dignity of women.
The Israeli army says military police have launched an inquiry and such an investigation will become standard practice in all similar cases.
In August, a female soldier posted photos on Facebook showing her posing next to Palestinian prisoners.
The military described her behaviour as shameful.
Unprofessional but not that big a deal.

So-would prefer the type of dancing that was done when the
good Muslims cut the throat of Danny Pearl? What had this woman done when free? How many suicide bombers-and murderers
of Jews has she raised or praised? The stuff raised about the
video—is just that— a distraction. The dance seems less
an offense than news common in war zones of body parts cut off and kept as memento.
This is the World in which we live.
Islamic savagery and barbarism is excused and explained away as an aberration.
The harmless goofball antics of eighteen year olds who need to be in uniform and harms way defending their Nation -instead of in school where such antics are common and expected of that age- is condemned.
And this BlackVeil poster, I have noticed, seems to scour Israeli news to highlight and magnify every such Israeli .......”horror” as this harmless episode of again young soldiers letting off some steam with no real harm to anyone.
