I recall similar sentiments when Scott Brown won but maybe statewide Massachusetts isn’t the same as NYC. It will as always be an interesting election night in November.

Susan Kone is an excellent candidate.

I don’t know if she has a chance, though. The district has some new apartments, built by Trump, so it might be becoming somewhat more receptive to Republicans.

The GOP candidate, whether he or she campaigns or not, usually gets about 20% of the vote in the 8th CD.

Anything over 25% would be a plus, and possible this year, but a victory for a Republican over a Democrat is still not likely. May I be 100% wrong.
