Sarah Palin in Private West Palm Beach Visit Today (On Hannity Tonight)
PALM BEACH POST ^ | October 6; 2010 | Jose Lambiet

Posted on 10/06/2010 3:58:03 PM PDT by onyx

Former vice-presidential hopeful and Alaska governor Sarah Palin is scheduled to spend today in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach as she fulfills a promise she made to local Internet entrepreneur Chris Ruddy after the two hit it off at the Kentucky Derby in May.

Although Ruddy didn’t comment, several sources are telling me the comely Conservative pol, an inspiration for many members of the Tea Party, is expected at the Village Boulevard offices of Newsmax.com, Ruddy’s West Palm-based political website.

There, Palin is scheduled to be interviewed by GOP pundit Michael Reagan, former Prez Ronald Reagan’s son, during the taping of a webcast to be aired on Newsmax.com next week.

Palin is starting to create a buzz about her new book, America By Heart, due out next month.

Tonight, Newsmax bigs are hosting Palin at a private dinner at The Breakers. Two dozen Conservative heavy-hitters are flying in for the occasion. The guest list is being kept hush-hush.

No public appearance by Palin has been scheduled.

I ignore those people whenever possible. Some are revoltingly nasty.

Sarah said on Greta one nite not to long ago if/when she announces it would be in May or June.

The thing is the pressure from us will force a statement one way or the other. I can’t wait until June for a yes or a no. I’m sure I’m not alone in my sentiment.

She said it would be the ideal situation, not what she would do.

If it was up to Sarah she wouldn’t declare until Reagan did in the fall before the primary vote. But that was 1980 and this is the 21st century.

Sarah will get with the program and not leave the playing field to the other competitors for too long. She can’t afford to in this Internet age.

Perhaps, but they will just drop out or others won't announce until they see if Sarah will run. Wonder who the RINO will be that the GOP establishment will anoint of their choice.

True. Sarah still has a lot of work to do and She needs the time in the public to do it.

Now back to business...

It seems that as SP has grown more comfortable, she has become more sassy and condescending when discussing King Obama. Her body language and gestures suggest contempt for the person. IMO, it will not be what she says, but how she says it that eventually drives Obie over the edge.

I have a very good source in Iowa and others are already scurrying around trying to sew-up elected officials to ‘sponsor’ their campaigns. Sarah doesn’t have ‘feelers’ on the ground yet. She’s in no hurry, but everyone thinks she’s in the running, so whenever she announces she will have a little ground to make up, but nothing she can’t handle.

Sarah has the best political instincts of any politician. She’ll time her announcment perfectly.

Mitt Romney. That's why we don't see some of the candidates running on "repeal obamacare!" Those candidates are likely being managed by the establishment backers of Romney. His Romneycare is indefensible against obamacare.

Looked like Chris Ruddy standing next to her trying to get her away from the reporters...LOL. Guess he was trying to hustle her off to his super-secret dinner.

But techno - She has had (when 2011 rolls around) almost 2 years to prepare. I think she has had more than adequate time (So much for the meme that she needs to "brush up" on the issues) to jump in later than the other pretenders.

Now obviously, she doesn't want to pull a Fred and wait until the Fall. But I would say in all honesty that May would be an excellent month for her to declare, and she's going to tip off those radio guys in Alaska first and hold the press conference in Fairbanks or something.

I bet none of the others will announce before Sarah does. Or if they do, they're going to burn through their cash and attack each other while Sarah sits in the background unfazed.

As 2nd DivisionVet said - they're all running to be Sarah's VP.

Good insight. I thought that would be the FIRST thing to tackle.

If mitt is the GOP's golden boy, then Sarah will run, IMO. She is TOO much for our country to let that happen.

I may not be able to contain myself if the guest list from the private hush hush (Rush Rush?) heavy hitter dinner doesn’t leak.

Sarah's really getting comfortable now with the media. Like she's almost enjoying getting the word out. Any future opponent should be worried.

I agree for any conservative but not for a RINO, like Mitt, he's too arrogant, IMO.

Since it’s at the Breakers, it will get out. If it were in a hush, hush (Rush,Rush) home it would be different. ;)
