Though his party is ailing as we enter the home stretch of the election, President Obama and his supporters can take heart, knowing that he's getting new strategies for electoral success from a fresh crop of advisers.
For example: former vice president and failed presidential candidate Walter Mondale. You can't read the news these days without finding pearls of wisdom the Minnesota Democrat has dropped. Mondale is 82 and last won a major election under his own name in a 1970 Senate race. After a term as vice president, he ran for president in 1984 and lost every state save his own and the District of Columbia.

Come on... they need to give Walter Mondale more credit than that. He is the only person in history who has lost a statewide race in EVERY state. Not only only did he lose 49 states in 1984, but in 2002 he lost in Minnesota as well when he attempted to “re-run” for the Senate seat there.
He came within 3,000 votes of losing Minnesota in 1984.

What a spiteful article. The Lib heroes of days gone by point out what the Big 0 is doing wrong and Obama’s Praetorian Guard in the MSM lashes out at them. Mondale said Obama needs to lose the “idiot boards.†He’s right. That advice has nothing to do with whether Mondale lost one state or 49 states. More attack the messenger from a team that has nothing to show for itself.
