Surely we have a legal whiz out there who can tell us if there is any serious legal issue with a peaceful, pitchforks and torches protest...

If not, I certainly see no reason why we couldn’t (also perhaps) bring pillows (for feathers) and a bucket of cold tar.
Not as dramatic, perhaps, but the point is to strive for symbolism that can’t be mistaken for anything else.
Stay inside the law. The points can be made without going outside the law. May it always be this way. Points made, points listened to, and acted on, for the benefit of God, and our nation.
Then, if the situation escalates, bring the real stuff.

I agree with you. Perhaps I should be a bit more clear: The TEA party is organized. My point is simply not to go to 0dumboJAIL because of a ‘perceived weapon’, that’s all. That’s why I suggest the cardbord stuff.
We must protest this and all the 0dumbo crap, I was thinking along the lines of not going to jail with ‘real pitchforks and torches, thats all. DykeNapolitono would lock you up for life if you showed up with ‘the real stuff’. That’s all.
