Two Others Hospitalized

MEXICO -- Authorities investigated a crime scene along the U.S.-Mexico border Thursday morning after shots were fired on the embankment on Mexico's side, near Paisano by Asarco.

According to our partners at the El Paso Times, a Juarez traffic officer was ambushed and killed by an unknown shooter near the U.S. border.

Roxana Monroyl, 33, was shot about 10:30 a.m., said Juarez city spokesman Jaime Torres.

After she was shot, she called for help. Two other traffic officers arrived at the scene to assist her and were also shot, he said.

Those officers were taken to a Juarez hospital. Their conditions are not known, Torres said.

The attack occurred on calle Clora, a street directly across the border from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Not only that, but he has a Federal lawsuit lodged against Arizona for the crime of defending itself against the slaughter by Mexian criminals.

Oh, and 0bama has also lodged a complaint against Arizona with the UN Human Rights Commission and has encouraged other nations to join the federal complaint, which they have done gladly, including Chile and Argentina, who don’t have much even of tourists here, let alone immigrants and illegals.

Better sit on your hands, otherwise, you'll be labeled "vigilantes" again.

Does anyone have the range (distance) from weapon fired to officer’s vehicle? An estimate would do.

It seems there is a bit more violence in the area directly across from the University of Texas at El Paso. Makes one wonder about the culpabilities of the pot heads on campus...

This is maybe 1/4 mile from I-10, also. I drive on Piasano frequently. No more. There is a 30 ft. high double steel fence, but I doubt it would stop a high powered bullet.
