ABC: Casting Call for Audience of Obama’s MTV Town Hall?

When President Obama sits down for his MTV town hall this Thursday, the audience of young people who will ask him questions will have been gathered by a casting call.

According to the casting call for the event from talent agency Backstage.com, first reported by National Review Online, the company requests applications for the event, asking what issues the person is “passionate about,” requiring a “short description of your political views,” and also asks for a recent photo.

I might be young enough. I can put on the application, extremely liberal, a vegan, supports New World Order, gay and whatever else. Once I am in the “townhall” I will open my Gay Pride shirt I would initially be sporting, and my undershirt would be “show me your birth certificate”.

You should send in two submissions, each one alike except for the “short submission of political views.” See which one gets picked.

Newsflash. The ORIGINAL Clinton "townhall" on MTV was a fraud too. The girl who asked the Boxers or Briefs question was the daughter of a CBS journalist. She and her mom discussed topics to ask Bill and settled on recreational drug legalization. The screeners nixed her question and asked for something lighter, thus the "spontaneous" boxers or briefs comment (that was also used to slur an entire generation as being pop-fixated lightweights).
