Obama is replacing those abandoning his sinking Administration with sycophants he has surrounded himself with. Rather than bringing in people from outside his inner circle, he is narrowing the circle. First Rouse as Chief of Staff. Now Donilon as Nat’l Sec Advisor. No wonder ol Barry is taking a long trip overseas TWO days after the election. He knows the ship is sinking and is probably looking for some property in Bali to retire to in 2012

My hunch is that he knows a major attack is going to occur during that time period and he wants to be way the hell away. Lets see if he pulls Malika and Sasha out of school and takes them with him.

National Security Adviser is a highly political job. Men who are qualified for positions like that do not settle for deputy slots. The fact that Obama is now having to resort to promoting a deputy may mean that he is finding it hard to get qualified people to work for him.
