MSNBC's Todd, Guthrie Urge Democrat Meek to Quit Florida Senate Race
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Well, they did stop short of presenting him with a ceremonial seppuku sword . . .

But other than that, MSNBC's Daily Rundown duo of Chuck Todd and Savannah Guthrie did their best to convince Florida Dem Kendreck Meek to get out of the senatorial race to give Charlie Crist a shot against Marco Rubio.

Todd tried the cold-hard-numbers route, while Guthrie made an emotional appeal, literally asking Meek if he "can live" with himself if his continued candidacy resulted in the election of Rubio.

Somebody needs to remind the MSNBC scumbags that Meek won his Primary. He is the legitimate candidate; the Independent faggot did not win his Primary.

If the Libs and Dems forced Meek to drop out, I guarantee you, 90% of the Blacks in FL will stay home on Election Day or vote for Rubio in revolt.

Ref. your Post #18: That was pathetic; an embarrassment to the State of Florida. It probably cost him another 2 percent in the polls.

Rubio has hit the 50% mark, meeks at 19% and crist at 25%, so thats 50% vs 44% but can the dems be really sure dropping crist will lift Crist any further up.....i wouldnt bank on it.

They’ll be calling this one for Rubio 10 seconds after the polls close if the poll blowout continues.

Indeed. That was the great state of Florida’s governor. Florida, home of Seminole Indians, Blackfeet, conquistadors, alligator hunters, crackers, surfers, ranchers, ship’s captains . . . and our governor, our alpha male, is a wimpy guy that can’t throw a baseball within 5 feet of a catcher.

Early voting starts when, next week? I doubt the ballots haven’t been printed already, with Meek’s name on them.

way back when....supporters of Rubio were going door to door getting the message out. Crist replaced martinez with some clown instead of Rubio. The clown..a fine RINO was supposed to sit on the seat and hold it for Crist.
The RNC and GOP elites including that POS Cornyn thought this was all a good idea.

But wait...seems the folks ...the little people...the conservative base said NO MORE....and now Rubio is in the drivers seat.

from the Florida election website :

Early VotingBack

Voters may vote in person by casting a ballot prior to Election Day. The voter will use the same type of voting equipment that is used at the polls on Election Day. Early voting begins 15 days before an election and ends on the 2nd day before an election. During this period, early voting is conducted 8 hours per day on each weekday and for 8 hours in the aggregate for each weekend. Supervisors of Elections designate early voting sites 30 days prior to an election. Early voting will be offered in the main or branch office of the Supervisor of Elections. They may also designate any city hall or public library geographically located so that all voters in the county will have an equal opportunity to cast a vote. Contact your Supervisor of Elections for dates, times and locations in your county.

http://election.dos.state.fl.us/voting/voting-info.shtml

I’m guessing early voting begins in about 5 days time in Florida.

pretty sure ballots were printed weeks ago when the dates of finalballot settlement was done, it can takes weeks to print all those absentee and back up paper ballots to order so they are probably done already. Meeks name will be on the ballot they cannot remove it now and knowing some of the stupidity of the dems, if Meeks withdrew, half of them wouldnt even realise he had and still mark the D with an X.

Crist is getting his signs out on our roads in S. Florida. Must be astroturf, because I can’t imagine non-payed people supporting him enough to volunteer . . .

Does all this game-playing by the Dems and their media cohorts factor in how totally ticked off blacks in FL would be, and how that would so seriously depress turnout? Or do they think blacks are so loyal to their agenda, that they’d watch a black candidate thrown under the bus and still go out to cheer on the white guy, even if he does have a good artificial tan?

Two white people telling the black guy to get out of the race so the old white flip-flop GAY candidate can win.

I think the Blacks are a little more sophisticated than the Union members; they can get pissed off when they feel like they’re being disenfranchised. But, who said anything about “Union members and Jewish people”???? I was talking about the Black community. Everyone knows that Union thugs would cut their mother’s throat for one more Democratic vote and American Jews are so liberal, they’d vote for a guy whose last name is Hitler if he had a (D) behind his name.

Nobody was talking about Union thugs and Jews...stay on message Ann and CHILL OUT!!! Now, have a Blessed Day.

half of them wouldnt even realise he had and still mark the D with an X.

Of course, lawyers might be able to convince the Tallahassee Supremes that those X's should count for Crist's sake (uh, so to speak).

Remember when Democrats asked African-American Maynard Jackson to drop out of the race for DNC chair so that they could install Terry McAuliffe?

When will a Democrat African-American politician tell the pundits that it's time for the party stop asking blacks to step aside for whites?

I’ll bet you Meeks could throw a baseball well enough for a professional catcher to get it. Crist should drop out in favor of Meeks. At least Meeks is out of the closet as a Democrat.

He he.

Based on what I bothered to read at the DUmmies site, the left is divided on the Florida senate race. Some DUmmies like that Crist angered the Republicans and changed even more positions to the left after he went Independent. But some on the left are upset he is spoiling Meeks chance. So people are very divided. Some like Crist just to stop Rubio since he is doing better. DUmmies owner has been on purge of dissent, but as he even gets mad at Obama, he then is confused what to do and what direction to head. So it sounds like he made an exception for Crist since he is not an official D. People can support him there. Seems the reason is because he has better chance to do better. So the fights begin. Seems people upset over why Liberal Independents like Crist. As such some have also called for Meeks to quit, just like these buffoons on MSNBC. That leads to people ranting against Crist. Some DUmmies say he is another Specter or Lieberman. And so it goes. This is killing them and making it even easier for Rubio to win.
