Soros: I Can’t Stop a Republican “Avalanche”
NY Times ^ | 10-11-10

Posted on 10/11/2010 9:04:00 AM PDT by truthandlife

George Soros, the billionaire financier who was an energetic Democratic donor in the last several election cycles but is sitting this one out, is not feeling optimistic about Democratic prospects.

I truly believe he is lying. I bet he is "knee deep" in this one. I think the Dems are trying to make the Republicans overconfident because it is the only chance they have.

Thank you - my thoughts exactly.

OTOH, that old pirate may be putting his money into gold and silver now that he’s had a good look at Obama’s economic policies.

I think GOP overconfidence is the only hope they have. But that is not mentality of the voters. It’s broken glass time.

I think the truth is he’s afraid he’d have to go broke do it and he’s not willing to spend the money or take that chance. I bet he is smart enough, shrewd enough to know when he has a losing hand and not to throw good money after bad...

Besides, a billion dollars just ain’t what it used to be....

He may be unable to stop it, but you can rest assured that he will find a way to profit by it!

He has already accomplished what he wants. He doesn't give a damn about the Democrats. He just wanted to collapse the US currency. No matter who wins in November we are going to have a currency collapse. Obama has simply run up more debt than we can possibly pay off.

Why should Soros waste more money to help democrats, when the useful idiots have already served their purpose. He may be pure evil, but he is no fool.

Soros belongs in an orange jumpsuit. Were I President there would be a detachment of marine MPs on the way.

Tie wraps and Vaseline for you Georgie.

The mosre likely truth is that he’s dumping money into “moderate” campaigns.

Where are the main street republicans?

>> an energetic Democratic donor

Whereas a Republican donor anywhere near the Soros caliber would be branded as a controversial partisan.

Interesting. Maybe Soros realizes that if he keeps pouring cash in, he becomes the issue, and the target of investigations for the voter fraud, campaign finance violations, and the like, if his bought pols lose anyway. Self-preservation? Lies? Or truth, and he just hated Bush?

On the hate Bush thing, he has interfered in a lot of different countries politics as I understand it, here and in Eastern Europe particularly, so I’m sort of with you, it sounds like a lie. The not standing in front of an avalanche does make some sense though; this is America and we can crush a worm like Soros if enough people decide he’s a threat.

If I were president I would hand him over to one of the many other nations who want him. Wonder how he would like an indonesian prison?

Sure you can George, just spend more money. Its what the monkeys you invested in would do. Shoosh, fatalistic NAZI commodity trader gets cold feet. Where are his true convictions? Oh yeah, there in the bank. Forgot.

I’m wondering if Obama is going to be as concerned with Soros’s money going to the Democrats a he seem to be about any money at all coming from the CofC to the GOP?

He’s canny enough to know when a cause is lost. However, if he sees the Obama administration this way, you can bet he’s figured out an angle to profit from Obama’s decline. Soros hates the US, BUT he also hates losing big $ and backing losers. He may have gotten all he wants and needs from Obama, and is ready to undercut him. If so, it will be interesting to watch.

I think that Soros will continue to make every effort to wreck civilization until he dies. Fortunately, he’s getting to be an old man.

He has done nothing but evil since, as a young man, he helped the Nazis exterminate his fellow Jews. A long lifetime of evil.

Unfortunately he has spawned several like minded larvae.
