Every voting cycle, I send this to my family, friends and clergy... and then post it on FR. I thought I would post it here first this time in case you recommend any changes. I'm always open to a second opinion.

The liberal American Catholic Church and catholic universities are the anti-Catholic Church as well.

In recent election cycles, the Democractic Party has been able to count on at least 50% of the Catholic vote... 1) Point of correction - Bush captured more of the total Catholic vote than the minimally-Catholic John Kerry
2) Your message matters more to practicing Catholics. What percentage of the practicing Catholic vote goes to democrats?
3) How do you reach out to non-practicing (apathetic) Catholics?

I would rank Social Justice teachings as well as Liberation Theology just below ‘The Five Non-Negotiable Issues for Serious Christians’ as threats to the Christian faith.
The left has infiltrated the Catholic church and is pushing these wto items very hard to unsuspecting parishioners.

Good points.
1. Recent cycles include 2006... and my stat was valid in that one. Maybe I should simply say “approx 50%”...
2 and 3. I know... I can simply put out the information (because so many of our bishops won’t) and pray.

s a Roman Catholic, I can attest to the fact that we need to suffer and see others suffer with us.
It is a Roman thing others would not understand.
In the future we shall again be fed to lions for mass entertainment.
And we would not have it any other way.

1) Point of correction - Bush captured more of the total Catholic vote than the minimally-Catholic John Kerry The writer is correct, the Catholics voted for Al Gore in 2000, after voting for Clinton in 1992 and 1996, in 2004 Bush did win the Catholic vote with 52%, and then in 2008, Obama won his 54% of the Catholic vote.
Four of the only six times that the Republicans have won the Catholic vote in history, was to reelect a president that was already there, a fifth time was electing Reagan's veep, before going to Clinton in the next election.

The figures you posted, without citation, were gleaned from inaccurate exit polls.

Can you break that down into practicing vs. apathetic (non-practicing) Catholic? Its important to separate how Catholics vote when they believe in what the Catholic Church presents every Sunday versus how they vote when they are apathetic about their own set of beliefs (but had Catholic parents and still label themselves as such)
