Reminding me more and more of that story that Solzhenitsyn tells of the conference where everyone present was standing and applauding at the mention of Stalin’s name, and after a few minutes people began to look around to see who was willing to be the first to stop applauding. Eventually someone did, and of course he was arrested and sent to a camp.
