One of our lady commentators has been saying this for a while, I think either Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter. Or both.

Cloward-Piven is direct actual premeditated plan to overthrow the United States..
There are Americans and non Americans domestically actively putting this plan in action..

And many republicans (and others) are denying this is the case..
Treason, sedition, and espionage are all around us..
Cowadice to attack this action is unforgivable..

Krauthammer needs to be more careful with use of terms like “reptilian”.

There was a line from one of the old Amos & Andy shows that went “I deny the allegations, and I resent the alligator!”

Watch for charges of racism! to be thrown out loudly and often over this ...

Obama & Company need to go back to attacking Christine, so that Krauthammer can go back to humping RINO leg.
This strategy isn’t working out so well for the dems.

According to journalist M. Stanton Evans, in his new book on Joe McCarthy, the Senator did have evidence of Communist Party memberships for those he talked about.

....YES , thanks MM for the insight. Both Kraut and Jonah ought to read a little before shooting off their mouths and being an embarrassment by invoking leftist talking points. Really sloppy excuse for “conservative commentary”... makes you wonder if they aren’t playing a pseudo con role on TV...

Properly used, “reptilian” is one of the best insults ever.

But he threw his net a bit too wide, and was not sophisticated enough to charm the elites that be.

..... oh please, quit swallowing commie propoganda by the gallon. He never accused or netted anyone but commies, and was slammed by the leftist controlled press for not being a “we love Joe Stalin” go along. The “elites” were and even today many are Leftists, Commies, Fellow travellers, or Dupes and were never going to be “charmed” as they pulled out all stops to protect the cells they had in place. Chambers proved how deeply imbedded the Commies were all the way up to hte White House. So, how many rational citizens think the cells all just dried up and blew away in the early 50’s? Yeah , right...

Please let me explain something to you.

It is now known that some of the people McCarthy questioned were actually Soviet spies. Many more were not actually spies, but Communist sympathizers in positions that could do our country great harm.

But McCarthy threw his net too wide, as I said before. He also targeted leftists who were essentially harmless, Charlie Chaplin and Orsen Welles, for example.

So the public became distracted, and eventually turned against McCarthy.

That’s not commie propaganda, my friend. It’s a lesson that if you try for everything, you may end up with nothing.

....ahhhh, please go read some non leftist history, maybe start with Evans and Coulter. Your beef may be with Hoover and the HUAC, not McCarthy who focused on cells of hard working Commies as confirmed by Chambers. As a non citizen, Chaplin had been a leftist actor for decades and chose not to cooperate with the HUAC, but McCarthy did not bring up his name to the committee.... Please name a leftist who was essentially “harmless” since you admit they were in position to “do the country great harm”.... The distraction/turning was ALL communist propoganda and lies planted in the leftist controlled press. “Trying for everything” was an effort to stop the cells from making the US a mirror image of the glorious soviet union!

I was perhaps a bit unclear in my last post. My main point is this: because McCarthy - and his allies - went after so many communists, he give the lefties an opportunity to attack him, and bring him down.

So what could, and should, have been a solid hard strike against American communism ended up backfiring. Look at the results. “McCarthyism” is now a dirty word to the general public. It should be just the opposite, a synonym for vigilance.

But I do agree with you, and Coulter, on this point: McCarthy was fundamentally correct.

... agreed, so my point is Kraut and Goldberg as so called conservatives should inject “ah, but McCarthy was right” every time the leftists use the McCarthyism smear... instead they let the left define the terms of discussion and even contribute to the problem.
