Obama’s Radical Past (0's College Years Exposed for the First Time)
National Review Online ^ | 10/12/2010 | Stanley Kurtz

Posted on 10/12/2010 9:53:24 AM PDT by mojito

On the afternoon of April 1, 1983, Barack Obama, then a senior at Columbia University, made his way into the Great Hall of Manhattan’s Cooper Union to attend a “Socialist Scholars Conference.” There Obama discovered his vocation as a community organizer, as well as a political program to guide him throughout his life.

The conference itself was not a secret, but it held a secret, for it was there that a demoralized and frustrated socialist movement largely set aside strategies of nationalization and turned increasingly to local organizing as a way around the Reagan presidency — and its own spotty reputation. In the early 1980s, America’s socialists discovered what Saul Alinsky had always known: “Community organizing” is a euphemism behind which advocates of a radical vision of America could advance their cause without the bothersome label “socialist” drawing adverse attention to their efforts.

A loose accusation of his being a socialist has trailed Obama for years, but without real evidence that he saw himself as part of this radical tradition. But the evidence exists, if not in plain sight then in the archives — for example, the archived files of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), which include Obama’s name on a conference registration list....

The 1983 Cooper Union Conference, billed as a tribute to Marx, was precisely when Obama discovered his vocation for community organizing.

Obama is the prince of liars. Only the truth sets us free. The more we see of what Obama represents, the worse it gets.

Kurtz will be ridiculed and demonized by the media.
But, he’s just confirming and expanding upon what Barry admitted in Dreams.

I firmly believe that the SCOTUS knows that Obama is ineligible to be POTUS. Why, oh why, have they chosen to ignore it?

The lame duck session....This is their last shot

Possibly, but Nov. 2 is our opening shot across the bow.

The Justices are not "ignoring it." They are "evading it."

You must be too young to remember how Hitler, Stalin and Mao operated when thy were in power. Sociist-Communits are not nice people! You may live to regret not heeding a well meant warning. Best to be prepared for anything than to ignore everything.

This is a spiritual war! God against Satan. Americans will not believe me at their own peril. Self sufficiency is impossible with no money, gasoline, or food. Those things will last but a short time. The reason we are where we are in history is because of the growth of evil, and the people straying from God’s principles! And we began our descent into chaos when fire and brimstone ceased to emanate from the pulpit. For 60 years the people have been lured by opulence and blind to what was going on behind the scene! For 60 years they have not believed the Watchmen on the Wall. There was no boy who called wolf. There were people with vision who could see where the trends were leading! Perhaps it is now too late, but those of us who love this country and respect what it was based upon cannot give up. We owe the victory to our children. We owe our freedom to Almighty God!

This nation was lost when the Ten Commandments were removed from the public square. We are operating on moral relevance thanks to the ‘progressives’. The majority believes they have a right to your property and you exist to serve man not God. There is only survival now.

Threatening families and loved ones only works on one or two people. It wouldn’t work if all the GOP banded together.
