This was the logical next step. No wonder the Mexican government wasn’t keen to do anything about this murder. We need to go down there and clean it up if they can’t.

I guess we can probably rule the wife out as a suspect now.

Well, it seems as though the wife of the first victim was telling the truth after all.

According to well informed sources, the head asked: "Where is the rest of me?"

So, Los Zetas wins again, against the Mexican government.

I wonder how they'd fare against the United States military?

I'd love to find out.

Don't be so sure. Someone on another thread thinks the investigator was killed due to US political pressure on Mexico from those who think the wife is innocent.

I s**t you not.

This is the culture the Democrats have invited into America, which is why the MSM won’t report it.

Saay... Didn't Mrs. Obama just recently tell us that Mexico was a great place to have a vacation?
Sounds to me like they have a bit of a ...er...safety problem (... I suppose if you're surrounded by a phalanx of Secret Service men, or armed guards, it would be ok...).

All quips aside, condolences to the man's family.

According to my contact who says he’s speaking with a contact in Loredo, the story is true. Time will tell. Maybe. I won’t be surprised if some of our open border advocates try to blame Hartley’s widow for this murder too ‘just to cover up her crime’.

It would certainly work to clean off that island in the lake that they use as a staging area, wouldn’t it.

A bit more:

[snip]CNN) — The severed head of the lead Mexican investigator in the Falcon Lake case, Rolando Armando Flores Villegas, was delivered Tuesday in a suitcase to the Mexican military, Texas Rep. Aaron Pena told CNN.

But a spokesman for the attorney general of Tamaulipas state in Mexico said he had not heard the report.

“We have nothing official,” said Ruben Dario-Rios, the spokesman. “We have not heard any report about one of our investigators being killed. We have over 1,000 investigators working for the state.”

The report came a day after authorities in the Tamaulipas state attorney general’s office gave conflicting information on whether authorities were pursuing a pair of suspects in the case of a U.S. citizen who disappeared during a sightseeing trip on the U.S.-Mexican border in South Texas.

We can't down there. We would be illegal aliens, and
if they got past our helicopters with Hellfire missiles
and helicopter mounted miniguns, they'd arrest us.
