French strikes: 3.5 million take to streets to protest pension reform

More than three million people took to the streets of France in protest at pension reforms, with distant echoes of May 1968 as students and schoolchildren swelled numbers to record highs.

And no different than (most) federal, state and city/county workers in this country too. Not to mention welfare recipients and retirees who are getting out far more than they ever put in.

The teat has run dry folks.

Imagine how idiotic the “students” and “children” have to be not to understand that by the time they get old enough, they won’t have anything left after taxes.

Oh but they’ve only lived in the era of instant and permanent gratification where you just borrow the money to buy the latest gadget, bigger house, new car, etc.

Wow people, this could be a huge story if the protests continue. Think about it, this is like a demonstration in the USA involving 10 million people.

What’s even more important is this is just the beginning of this kind of unrest worldwide. Things are not going to be pretty over the next 7-10 years.

Hopefully, France is smart enough to NOT pay them when they don’t work. OK, I know that France is not that smart, but it is exactly what needs to be done here.
