American Jews, 78% of whom voted to make Barack Obama president are continuing to move away from Obama and his policies. According to a survey conducted by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) , 51% of Jews approve of the way Obama is doing his job. While that number may seem high keep in mind that the AJC poll conducted in March 2010, showed the president with a 58% approval.

Couldn’t have convinced them back in 2008 of their mistake before they voted for him.
Oh boy, another “why do Jews always vote Democrat?” thread.
No. Saul Alinsky tactics were working then. They don’t now.
Oy, like that's going to happen really?
“No. Saul Alinsky tactics were working then. They dont now.”
To what do you attribute that? MSM doesn’t educate people. First time I ever heard of Alinsky was on FR.
It is sad to type Obama and News in google.
They have 1456 articles on Obama being related to Palin.
1345 articles on Michelle campaigning i article on Obama blaming the 24/7 media for his failures.
I guess we should be happy it is not 13478 articles on his dog, what a savior he is in pictures or Michelle’s ugly shoes and clothing.
It does not matter that the MSM are not reporting on Alinsky and Clinton/Obama ties.
The American public is no longer falling for Obama and the dems demonizing and attacking everyone and the boogey man blame game.
I’d be much happier seeing BHO’s dog on TV all day everyday than BHO or MO.
“Oh boy, another why do Jews always vote Democrat? thread.”
X 2
So much energy over 1.7% of the population.
From 78% dumber-than-a-bag-of-hammers to 51% dumber-than-a-bag-of-hammers... I guess that’s improvement... of sorts.
You would think all those Jews (of which I am one, by the way) would put their stereotypical Big Brains to use and be 0% dumber-than-a-bag-of-hammers.
But I guess that’s asking too much. (Proving once again that stereotypes are usually wrong.)
About damn time! Hard to forgive someone that walked into a voting booth 2 years and pulled the lever for this yo-yo. I’m just hoping it’s more about the dems that they’re upset with than just the kenyan.
Well, for one thing, a lot fewer people rely on the MSM now. For another thing, the Alinksy info has been repeated on the internet in a lot more places than Free Republic, which has a substantial following anyway.
For a third thing, our side is now using Alinsky tactics against the Obama left.
Alinsky's methods were largely predicated on the expectation that his side would be a fringe bunch of crazies forever. His writings of the 1960's didn't take into account the eventual take-over, by the student radicals he helped give rise to, of the universities, the media, the philanthropic organizations, the educational system, the unions, and the government.
His "rules for radicals" were rules for a guerilla insurgency against "the power structure." Now his people are "the power structure," and, so become vulnerable to his own tactics.
BTW speaking Of Hillary’s Alinsky ties. Her NOT campaigning for dems and Obama now (big article on Drudge yesterday) is a SURE sign she plans on taking Obama’s job; what do you think?
Hey! We're worth it!
/kidding
What a delicious irony.
Sure, but watch... they'll still vote for him in 2012 with 75%+ support.
Hard to forgive someone that walked into a voting booth 2 years and pulled the lever for this yo-yo.I voted for the other yo-yo and now I'm wondering if we're not better off with the yo-yo we got.
This is off-topic for this thread, I realize that, which is about why Jews vote Dem over time, even though dems side with rabid-nazi-arabs 100% of the time against Israel...
But because you mentioned it, I can't help commenting that if the yo-yo I had voted for (Senor Juan) had been elected, I think we STILL would have had MengeleCare and maybe even a stronger version of it (with his cross-aisle humping, and all) and we CERTAINLY would have had amnesty be now.
And the populace wouldn't have woken up. And all those stupid Jews wouldn't have started to wake up.
So though it may be painful to have this yo-yo as prez, it might be true that their yo-yo is better than our yo-yo (talking about 2008 only).
PING
American JEWS are moving AWAY from Hussein?? I didn’t know they could GO any further left?? Who are they backing now...Stalin??
Good points. The GOP fell for the demonizing of Bush over and over and over in the media. The went weak and went RINO as the left demonized the FAR right so well they ran for cover. The tea party is telling the GOP to go play elsewhere fools.
A Jew voting D is the same thing as JFK catholics voting D.
It took awhile but they woke up.
Like the man who accidently opens the 200-year-old bottle of wine he bought as an investment, it's deliciousness I wish I didn't have to taste.
May I add that it took the JFK catholics to see Obama as POTUS TO fully wake up to the fact that the democratic party has been hijacked so far left it is communist, left of Castro.
Hillary “plans on taking Obamas job.” I picked up that feeling when Obama won. The secret service people who called Hillary’s helicopter “Broomstick One” weren’t kidding. The Clintons were dirty fighters, but she seems especially vicious and vindictive.
I’d like to see some group(s) within the Democrat party pull them back to the center. Can it be done?
May I add that it took the JFK catholics to see Obama as POTUS TO fully wake up to the fact that the democratic party has been hijacked so far left it is communist, left of Castro.Have the US Catholics seen the light?
Which leaves the question of who is dirtier in politics Obama or Hillary or are they both on the same Alinsky side? Obama’s admin were all dixie mafia clintonistas.
From what I have heard in VERY Catholic states that always went Dem as their Mama’s granddaddys and so on always did.
They despise Obama and will pull the lever against dems.
It will be a different story if the dems put out a moderate rightie in 2012 they could be fooled again but I doubt it.
JFK Catholics? Before JFK the Catholic vote had always been Democrat also, the only exception was in 1956, and if you think that Obama is going to turn Catholics into a dependable Republican vote, then think again. We can hope for the Catholic vote in 2012, but we will not make them become permanently conservative voters.
POTUS Obama will first serve up Israel and then will handle the Jewish problem in the USA in the same fashion some other guy in past history did. Any Jewish person that thinks otherwise is only fooling themselves!!! Hint: remember two folks that really love and admire American and Israeli Jews, Reverand Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan, two of POTUS Obama;s soul brothers!!! Believe that and...I have a bridge in Brooklyn, New York City I’d like to sell you!!!
I could never figure out why American Jews are not rabidly pro-Israel. Israel is our best defense against Islam. If self-preservation is their prime mover, they’re gonna have to rethink a lot more of their strategies, IMHO.
See my last post. And my -gues-s is that they will dump the democrats with the exception of the irish catholic die hard union voter types from yankee north.
Yep.
“I voted for the other yo-yo and now I’m wondering if we’re not better off with the yo-yo we got”.
...point well taken. I do believe that we would be worse off with the Juan yo-yo because of the “R” next to his name. No doubt he’d be shoving all the same crap down our throats, only slower and more professionally. But in 2008, even though your choices were slim, I think you had to have a screw loose to vote for the kenyan yo-yo.
What took them so long?
The Jewish Easterners gave their heart to Hillary, and only reluctantly did the Florida Jewish communitity accept the advances of BO. Regretfully, the Jews give us know cheer, as they surely await the re-emergence of Hillary, or someone Bill & HIl annoint.
They did the same thing in the sixties here in Avondale.
There are indeed far too many democrats that think Hillary is a good lady. But I heard her involvement in Az. sicking the U.N. on them with Obama made some eyebrows raise. This is why Hillary went silent I suppose.
I agree that it isn't productive to keep wringing our hands asking the question but we get these stories every once in a while about how Jews are about to break from the Dem candidate and vote against him but it never happens. I think people are commenting more on the false premise of the story.
Like I said, we may get the Catholic vote in 2012, but they will never become a permanent part of the conservative voting block, they will always remain, or lean liberal.
Who are they backing now...Stalin??
The Upper West Side remains in shock over Joe's Death, and they are still holding fund-raisers for Alger Hiss and the Rosenbergs; still looking to beat up any renegade Trotsky-ites left in old-age homes. Check in with the Kagan Family, if you don't believe me.
Not backing Obama as usual? So, look for write-in votes for Fidel and Chavez. Oi Vey, must a guy from Maine explain everything to you people?
I won’t believe reports like this until I read election returns showing it to be true.
I guess you’re right. I did vote for the Juan yo-yo.
I could never in a million years vote for any democrap... but esp a democrap from kenya.
“Moving away from Obama” just means they will favor somebody else in the primaries. It does not mean they will vote Republican.
Sweetheart trade deals with Cuba going down for Soros-Obama pals as we speak! BTW, the Cuban infrastructure is so gutted, that there isn't much left to privatize. IMHO, it will become an economic colony of Spain again, as soon as you-know-who get's Satan's pitchfork up his diseased bum.
Batista made a big mistake in not executing Fidel when he had the chance! Would have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. Now, whoever controls the huge army is going to call the tune ... or try to. My crystal ball says a left-wing peace-keeper force (Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia) will be deployed to damp down the civil war on the way.
BTW, The Souse Americans with whom I work consider the Mombasa Moonbeam a figure of ridicule!
