Rasmussen commented in one of his poll writeups that something to watch is the monthly averages, not the day to day ups and downs. A pollster can only report what his poll finds. Since hsi poll is of likely voters, these are people that are more knowledgeable and engaged than the average American. That includes the hard left. The mushy middle is less likely to be included in this poll. So the chatter may be more anti-Obama than ever, but the leftwing likely voters are still going to say they are pro-Obama.

Thing that skews the poll, possibly, is that the likely voters may be more Republican than his model given the relative spirits of the two groups.

The Chilean president “acted stupidly.” /sarc

Barry would have been eating ice cream, reading from the prompter and assuring America Republicans were at fault.

I think there is just a lot of inertia. people are(were) clinging to their opinion of obama. They are finally beginning to realize they got fooled. Now there’s no place to go but straight down for obama’s numbers...barring some spectacular feat by obama that is. But I don’t see that happening between now and election time. Actually I don’t see it happening at all. He’s toast. Not only would it be the best thing for america, but it would actually be the best thing for the democrat party if obama quit BEFORE his first term is up.

Pres. Pinera thanked every world leader by name, all those who took the time to pick up the phone and call him, that is! Odumbo took the time to read a short speech about the rescue but I guess he was just too busy to call!

I’m sure Obama would have bowed before Pres. Pinera if he had the chance.

“I stopped paying attention to Rasmussen Presidential polls when they failed to reflect Obama’s collapse in the last few months—I mean, the guy’s a pariah!

He should be polling around -40.”

That’s because many who voted for him lie and say they support him when they are already sick of him. The same thing happened to Bush in 2005 and 2006. Those supporters then didn’t turn out in the 2006 election. When the Dems won Congress in 2006, Bush’s support collapsed. The same will likely happen to Obama after this election (his marginal supporters will defect and his poll ratings will collapse), unless he pulls a Clinton and moves to the center, which seems unlikely.

“Fifty-two percent (52%) of Democrats Strongly Approve”

That’s NUTS right there. A large portion of Democrats are completely seperated from economic and other types of reality. That’s either utter ignorance (yup) or neurosis (check.)

“Many Americans followed yesterday’s mine rescue in Chile. After watching and seeing how a REAL President and First Lady act it is a wonder that Obama’s ratings aren’t at -30!”

You know, most people HATE to admit their wrong. Further they HATE to admit they’ve been duped, or had. That psychology has served to keep obummer’s numbers up as high as they are. He’s a TOTAL failure and soon even his supporters will bail. Especially when he has no practical power.

11/2.

His wife Michelle isn’t helping his cause when she plays the wrong religious card for a nation under the Biblical God. Quote:

“I know many are praying..”Keeping Clean Spirits around us”.

This is a result of her eastern religious practices.

“Rasmussen must be using a legit phone list. Maybe he is finished playing games. Question: what in particular has Obama done in the three days to drop a rolling average of -12 to a rolling average of -18?”

I do think polling, especially from an original pool of say 200 million adults, is pretty tough. Ras, while not perfect is the most accurate.

The relative polling accuracy of Rasmussen.

Paganism.
Maybe she doesn’t recognize it as such,
I know many self-claimed Christians who wouldn’t see any problem with that.

“his broadcast admission that “there ARE NO shovel-ready jobs” has got his lefty base splintering”

Bummer’s also saying the Pubbies are going to have to learn to ‘get along’ (who is he Rodney King?) with him - basically admitting the RATS will lose the House...that must be driving the leftists crazy!

“This latest attempt at demonizing the Chamber of Commerce isn't working except among his faithful followers.”

Think about just how asinine this is. We've 10% official and about 18 to 22% (depending on your measure) un and under employment - and bammy’s focus on ‘jobs’ consists of blasting on the US Chamber of Commerce. I think even his supporters are starting to see he and his cadre are in bunker siege mode.

Barry’s ego would not allow him to make the call. He saw another president, a caring leader, get hours of face time worldwide. He and we saw another president speak well to the world without a teleprompter. We saw a president PRAY to and thank God.

Chile’s president and wife exemplified graciousness to the minors and their families and rejoiced at the success of the rescue effort. Meanwhile, Barry was probably mad as hell and thought a brief mention would be enough. Can’t wait to see him suckin on a slurpee saying, “Well Bush didn’t call either”.
