White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett apologized to the gay community Thursday after she referred to homosexuality as a "lifestyle choice" during a discussion about the wave of recent teen suicides.
"I meant no disrespect to the LGBT community, and I apologize to any who have taken offense at my poor choice of words," Jarrett said in a written statement.
The Obama confidante made the off-hand comment in an interview Wednesday with The Washington Post. She was talking about a speech she delivered Saturday to the Human Rights Campaign, a gay rights group, on teens who've killed themselves after being bullied over their sexual orientation.
In praising the parents of one teenager who killed himself in Minnesota, she said: "These are good people. They were aware that their son was gay. They embraced him, they loved him, they supported his lifestyle choice. But yet when he left the home and went to school, he was tortured by his classmates."

It was the gays that FIRST called it a lifestyle choice and did so for years. Then they realized they could get farther by claiming it wasn’t a choice.

No, what she is saying is that sodomy, fisting, gerbilling, golden showers, teabagging, and cacophagism are normal behaviors.
The “gay community” has even dropped, “we were born that way, we can’t help it” as an excuse.
In fact, there is no excuse necessary anymore. Now, they want all their behaviors to be accepted as perfectly normal, and within the bounds of normal human sexual behavior, regardless of how depraved and perverse.
This explains in part the big push for bisexuality.

Their position is that sex (orgasm in particular) is a birthright to be enjoyed by everyone at every age with no moral judgements over pairings of any kind (regardless of sex, age, relation, marital status, number, or species of partner(s)).
If it feels good, do it. The "genetic component" is just a mcguffin to persuade the malable with the excuse "couldn't help it", "born that way". People in civilized societies can reject physical attraction to a "possible partner" because they don't meet one or more established criteria (too young, related, already dating someone who is possibly even a friend or family member, either one of you is already married (and not to each other)...) Sex positive proponents don't care about any of them.
Bill Ayers wrote in his memoirs that he engaged in partner swapping and homosexual encounters with other members of the Weather Underground because they sought to "smash monogamy".
It seems that the state has an interest in discouraging such relationships for the simple reason that the children who are rasied in them are bound to have retarded social skills.

Very interesting that now ultra leftists cannot even say that homosexuality is a "lifestyle choice" which of course used to be what the homosexual agenda pushers themselves said.
