This has a ring of truth to it because indeed he is SOOOO narcissistic and sooooo self-absorbed, and in fact, lazy. Hannity (who rarely makes profound points) did make a good one the other day: if not for this guy’s inherent laziness, we’d be in real trouble now. An energetic and committed radical would have gotten his stuff through.

Hannity is correct re Obama. Stupidity is not as bad as an aggressive stupidity. Would he be energetic we might be by now in a full blown depression if not a catastrophic upheaval.

An energetic and committed radical would have gotten his stuff through.This brings to mind the smart/hard-working matrix: smart+lazy = efficient, smart+hard-working=reliable, stupid+lazy=harmless, stupid+hard-working=dangerous.

Agreed. I got flamed by a prominent FReeper because I think we are beeter off with O than Hillary. She makes Stalin look reasonable. She would not tire, she would not flinch, and she would grab the reigns of power with both hands. IMHO, she would go as far as she could down the path to communism through the legislature, and when that failed, would cease power.
I would take O over Hillary any day.
