Yes, I understand the purpose of what is being posted. It's just that they all use some variation of the same theme, i.e., how tragic it is that my guns were lost in a “boat accident” (why ALL the guns were on a boat is a mystery). Damn, but that gets so old and it's not a bit witty. Your last sentence, though, is better. At least, it's different from that stupid boat theme.
It's tough for the OP to lighten up because I am a serious man who does not see the world in humorous terms. Life in all of its manifeststions is a serious business.

Well. I would agree that different versions would be good and something people should really think about.
I'm sorry if I sounded a little bit like an a-hole with the Lighten up bit I would definitely agree that these are serious times we are living in. They are the most serious in the history of the world, mark my words on that.
It's just that you shouldn't let the seriousness of things have a negative effect on you. Address these serious issues, but don't let it affect your physical health.
